The trip as a whole was a great time. Unfortunately because of the waves we were unable to go snorkeling, however our crew was so amazing and pleasant that it honestly didn't even make a difference. Celeste, our tour guide was funny always kept us...More
It's listed as a half day tour but to be honest, between picking up people at other hotels and traveling to the ruins, it was more like a 2-3 hour tour. Now, having said that, we were given all sorts of history on the ruins...More

Town Activities - Close to Secrets? (7 Replies)
Hello friends! We are traveling to Secrets Akumal. We did a Cancun Adventures tour to Tulum/Akumal when we stayed at SMB a few years ago. We can't remember the name of the restaurant they took us to (it was on the beach and had hammocks). Was it La Buena? I also remember a cute town with some shops. Is Secrets in walking distance to any town activities, shops and restaurants? If anyone has posts or tips, let me know! We love love love SMB and we're really exicited to be changing things up and...More

The Lo Ha bar & restaurant is just few minutes up the beach from Secrets. There are shops just past it. La Buena Vida the one you went to previously is probably a 15 minute walk the same direction but on the road to Half Moon bay which is the next bay up. There are also some souvenir shops there. We are going to Secrets Akumal in October and really looking forward to it too.
Cancun Adventure tour - Playa Del Carmen charming nights (1 Replies)
I've been to Cancun before and will be returning in December for two weeks. Have never been to Playa Del Carmen and would like to see the town. Has anyone taken the Charming nights tour from Cancun to Playa Del Carmen with Cancun Adventures? Was it worth it or would it be just as easy to take a bus there and back?
