This is a quaint shop just across the street from the Riu Playacar. It has nice souvenirs and the prices are not too bad. Be prepared to haggle...It was really nice to have some thing like this so close to the hotel

A surprisingly good selection of souvenir shops, not overpriced, as well as a Starbucks and a convenience store all just a short walk from our hotel.

This is a small tourist shopping area. Prices are slightly higher then shops on 5th Avenue. If you want more of a variety i suggest going to 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen.

Was a short walk away from where we stayed in Playa del Carmen. Has a little bit of everything in case you run out of a necessity like sun screen. Also souvenirs to purchase.

My girls and I really enjoyed walking through the Plaza Playacar Market. There definitely were more shops than I expected. We all purchased amazing souvenirs. My husband even purchased a Tennessee Titans skull, and he NEVER buys anything for himself when we travel. My only negative comment is this: some of the sellers are very pushy and do not allow... Ok for a few items you might have forgot. We couldn't bring our sunscreen so we walked up from the hotel and purchased some. It cost us $12.50 US so buyer beware. We rode bicycles to Walmart and paid less than $6 US a couple of days later

I hadn't reviewed this before because I didn't know what it was called so couldn't really know how to find where to put the review. Fortunately when doing a hotel search this photo popped up on my screen. I immediately remembered the great little mall we returned to twice. Our first trip to Playa, we stayed right nearby it in...
