Our tour included Chichén Itza, Ek Balam, ik kil cenote, and Villadolid. Our guide, Lorentino, was SO knowledgable - he should offer this information in a university course! Lorentino was a great guide - he had passion and knowledge. I felt privileged to be gaining information about the Mayans (and Mexico) from a native son. Lorentino was welcoming and I... More

I was in search for a smaller tour group to visit some particular ruins at last minute. I'd spent a good part of the day prior trying to find a company that would meet these needs and just when I was in the verge of giving up, I found Mayans Explorers. They [Rod] were quick to respond to and confirm... More

I am on a mission to visit the 7 Wonders of the world so I booked a private tour (The Mayan Experience) for my birthday. It was the BEST birthday ever! This tour is well put together and our guides were amazing. Murux was caring, friendly, patient and is a genius! As we were leaving Chichen Itza, other tour guides... More

We took a group "cool tour". The weather was "iffy", so many canceled, which left us with a smaller group. The reservation system is easy with pay-pal. We had to adjust our schedules to accommodate the weather. All of which worked out GREAT ! Tulum, zip lines, cave swimming. After we walked, they were ready to give us cool towels,... More

I had read the great reviews on TripAdvisor about this company and was not disappointed. We exchanged emails before we arrived in Mexico and we had planned on a shared tour, The Mayan Experience Tour. When Murux, our guide and the driver arrived at our resort that morning we learned we would have a private tour since the other party... More

We exchanged emails with the company to get a recommendation on a short tour suitable for a 4 and 7 yr old and settled on the 1/2 day to Tulum and swimming at a cenote. Our guide Murux is a Mayan archeologist/professor and author. And Hector was our driver was reliable and safe driver. There was a toddler car seat... More

We were 11 people, we loved our tour guide he did an excellent job. He really knew his history on the temples. We went to four different locations. Our tour package was called, Mayans Explorer.I would take this tour again it was really worth it.

This tour included pick up at our resort, a snorkeling excursion, Mayan Ruins, a meal in a Mayan village, ziplining, canoeing and swimming. A long, but eventful day that the two grandkids will remember for a long time. Both kids (ages 9 and 15) thoroughly enjoyed themselves as did all of the adults.

We wanted to go on a guided tour of Mayan ruins and there are many places to choose from. We went with Mayans Explorers due to the strong reviews in Trip Advisor. Most tour groups that I saw walking around Chichen Itza were large--our group consisted of three couples. Muruxc was our tour guide and Diego the driver. Muruxc struck... More
