Excellent Excellent! Had the best time my wife and son age 12 are certified I'm not so we did a fun dive, our instructor josh was brilliant made us feel very relaxed and chilled,
He was patient and thorough just made the whole day great it was just us 3 and josh,
If anyone is wanting a great professional company to dive with give them a shout, my wife will be coming back in a few years to do the bull shark dive and will be definitely using these guys,

This was such a unique and cool experience and was our first cenote. Our guide Martin prioritized safety with a max ratio of 4 divers to one guide and he is fully cave certified. We dove Chac Mool. Martin made us feel really comfortable with this new experience. He was super friendly and funny. We would definitely dive with him again!

Felipe and Martin "Schumacher" were absolutely fantastic guides, transport drivers, hosts and compadres for a week of amazing diving in the Yucatán.
While extremely professional they were fun and very much just part of our group.
The conversation in the truck was great - Felipe was our host/driver and Martin was in the other truck with four women (poor guy!)
I couldn't ask for better service or more fun.

The Cenotes are nothing I’ve ever experienced. We are ocean divers so this was very new for us. Under water Kartchner Caverns and it was amazing. Our guide, Felipe was the best we’ve had. Supportive and we always felt safe going into a somewhat unsure environment. Rico was at the shop every morning before the dive to greet us.

Cenote Xperience was amazing-- easy communications and excellent diving. We did both ocean and cenote. Martin was a great dive master-- very chill and easy to follow. Very small groups-- you're grouped with others from other shops on the boat but then dive just in small groups (we were just two of us with Martin). This is a small dive shop so you got flexibility and personalization as opposed to a larger shop where it's more of a cattle herd type experience. We loved it and will definitely use them in the future!

I booked with Cenote Xperience at the recommendation of a local friend and everything was smooth from booking and communication to the dives. Josh was my guide and he was outstanding from start to finish. On time/early to pick me up, great conversation - very personable, clear briefing and made sure to check if I had questions, very comfortable to dive with him as well and he took the time to light up some of his favorite areas of the cenotes for me to see in El Pit and Dos Ojos. Overall an outstanding experience. Highly recommend.

Great communication from the start, and really helpful.
On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and the cave guide talked us through our upcoming dive site. We drove together to Chiken Ha cenote, and had a full site briefing. We were then briefed on the dive.
The cave chose had beautiful structures, and blind fish in the cave. The dive lasted an hour and 41min. The second dive I decided to not do as I had gotten cold on the first one. My husband enjoyed the second dive.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, and we felt safe with him being guided through the cave.

Incredible and unique experience! The dive shop as well as our dive master Mauricio were great and helped us navigate diving in a denote for the first time! Would recommend this to anyone who is visiting the area and has a diving certification.

At this time we did with them snorkeling in dos ojos , and it went very well! Pick up time, the ride and Felipe. Then we took 2 days dive’s in Playa & Cozumel. The boat’s are small and the crew is not helpful as we know it from other places around the the world, but Felipe was doing great job to make it a good experience! The diving was good with many corals and fish…

Hello, do we have to have a diving certification to participate in this tour?
Written April 20, 2021
Hi Sarah, if you are not certified you can participate in a Discovery Scuba Diving, which will let you experience the wolrd of scuba diving under the direct supervision and guidance of a dive instructor.

Hi, I am a certified open water diver and would like to know if I will be able to dive in cenotes with my certification. Thanks!
Written August 20, 2018
Hello Fatima, sure you can dive the cenotes with your certification level. As Brinavet mentioned above, there are some cenotes limitations of depth and complexity of the dives. Some of the very cool cenote combinations you can do are Kukulcan/Chac Mool, Ponderosa/Tajmaha and Dos Ojos/Bat Cave.

Hola!
Gracias!!

Hi I am not certified to scuba diving. How much is it? Is there a weight limit? And do you need to know how to swim to scuba dive?
Written April 5, 2017
I wouldn't recommend diving the cenotes unless you had some experience diving.
I have no doubt that places will let you do dive training without being able to swim. But reputable places will make you do a swim test first. When I did my test I had to be able swim/traverse 400m. I also had to be able tread water for 2 minutes with my hands in the air.
I don't believe there is a weight limit. And prices will vary from place to place.
I recommend that you do some research at your local dive shops. Many dive shops (including overseas places) will allow you to do the theory component on line and then the practical later on. Normally over a couple of days.
I hope this helps.

Do Cenote Xperience offer professional photographer or third party diving photographer for hire to take pictures of divers in cenote?
Written February 27, 2017
In case you want to hire a professional photographer to go with you during the dives, we can make the arrangements.
Best regards,
