My husband and I wanted to try a Discover SCUBA course and Nico and Martin’s dive shop came highly recommended to us. We were a little nervous as we weren’t sure how safety-minded the divers would be with us newbies. We need not have worried....More

Dealing with Cenote Experience has always been positive. They are consistence, communicate well and you feel like family there. The training for the cave diving course I took was exceptional and very thorough.

I had a great time diving some amazing cenotes with Carlos as my guide. He is very professional, funny, and helpful. We went to some amazing cenotes and even went Shark diving one day! I will be back!

Dived with Cenote Xperience the cenotes for several days, and a few dives outside Cozumel. Had a blast! The staff are all very friendly, genuinely easygoing and punctual. No hassle at all. Recommend warmly!

This was without a doubt the best divecenter in the world. A small family owned business and all the staff are so nice. We (me and my girlfriend 26 and 30 years old) made three different dives with them. A cenote dive, reef dive and...More

Hello Fatima, sure you can dive the cenotes with your certification level. As Brinavet mentioned above, there are some cenotes limitations of depth and complexity of the dives. Some of the very cool cenote combinations you... More

2 nights in Valladolid planning - ruins, cenotes..help! (4 Replies)
My husband and I are coming for our anniversary in late October. We're spending 6 nights in Cozumel first. On Monday, Oct 24th we are leaving Cozumel. I'm planning on checking out of our hotel after breakfast, so between ferry and renting a car, I'm expecting to be heading out of PDC around noon. Im trying to do Chichen Itza, Ik Kil, Ek Balam, Valladolid, Punta Laguna and Coba. Would be nice to see Dzitnup, but I'm thinking of foregoing something add this is a lot in 3 days. I've been...More

I like that itinerary a lot. On the second day you might consider eating lunch around Chichen. The Hacienda Chichen would be a special place to eat lunch, and if you go there from Valladolid and make reservations first thing in the morning I'll bet they'll let you park in their parking lot and use their entrance to Chichen. Then you can onto Ik Kil or better, head to the cenote at Ek Balam via the Cuota (the toll road).
