Nice beach club to go as a couple or with friends! It's not a family place! not because of the club but because of the beach... a lot of people and little space on the coast, if you go to the area you are practically forced to go to the club. greetings.-

One of the best and most popular beach clubs in PDC. Food and drinks are good and the wait staff are great and incredibly accommodating!
They have several different package plans for day passes which include an F&B consumption credit.
The only con I see is they close at 6pm and
although you can stay at the beach later, you no longer have access to the bathrooms or showers.

Nice beach to spend time at. Convince stores/restaurants are close, if you like umbrellas can be rented from a beach vendor. Leaving your beach belongings and going into the water I have not heard of any issues from others, quite safe 5th ave is a few minutes away

I can't say I will remember this as the beach of my life.
It's pretty enough with white sand and relatively clear waters compared to the murkiness of the UK, but it didn't blow me away.
There are very few places to sit in the shade and the sand is bobbly so it made for an uncomfortable sitting.
I won't be returning.

This place is not the same anymore the music is extremely loud and the music is not even as good as it used to be. The food is expensive and is terrible, one of my friends ordered a hamburger with fries and he said those fries tasted like they were made a couple days ago and just warmed up in a microwave. He said that the meat was tasteless. I ordered a salad and well, just two bites were enough to leave that plate on the side. And drinks were so disappointing, very weak, I feel like they mix them with water.

Also, we saw a very unfortunate and frustrating situation. There was a couple laying down on the beach, doing there own thing, not disturbing anyone. And suddenly police came in and arrested them very aggressively!! Why? The owner of this place, called the police to kick them out since they didn't consume anything nor pay to use their installations. As far as we know, the beach supposed to be public, they were not doing anything wrong and nobody came to warn them at all, they just came straight to arrest them. Like seriously? Honestly, don't even bother, go to the beach club Kool which is right beside, that's what we did and it saved our day!

Super loud, barely any beach to sit on if you want a beach chair and you need to go to the beach club, go further down and you will find nice and quiet places where you can sit!

First, i got worried when the smell reached my nose... I couldn't see the beach yet and i was wondering where the stench was coming from. You should have seen my face when i showed up on this beach... I went to Playa del Carmen because i had heard the water was crystal clear and the beaches amazing. Well... it would have been great to know about this phenomenon before booking my trip. I was told by a local that this rotting soup of algae reaches most of the beaches (including Cozumel, Holbox, Isla Mujeres etc) and remains there for a good 7 months !!!!!! Yes 7 months a year. This is DEVASTATING.... This woman told that this monstrous amount of algae started showing up about 7 years ago... Oh great just a little bit after the humongous BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I feel terrible for the Mexicans that live of tourism, but this is serious. It was my first time in the area and you know... Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever come back. For the people still interested to go. Apparently it is clear for a few months, so try to get the info before you book.

I could not recommend this place. Total cacophony......extremely loud noise and bass. Couldn't wait to get away! Crap disco music.

a few years back a lounge chair was only 30 pesos now its 700 pesos just for one beach chair
I feel its a rip off. $38 USD very expensive.
Waiters don't come around often so one has to go to the v bar to order their drinks
oh well maybe another place will open that charges less for a beach chair

Hope you like seaweed. This was once a fantastic place. There was hardly a day where tractors and workers were not working futilely to clean up the seaweed nightmare floating in from the South American current. It is actually a beautiful place. However, the seaweed in the water and in the shoreline is so horrible and smelly.
