Memo is an outstanding person that is always there in a pinch. He's kind and trustworthy, which is so great for anyone nervous about traveling here. He's so much fun, punctual and communicative. There isn't a better person than Memo to look after you here while in the Riviera Maya.

It was my birthday and I decided to celebrate in Mexico. Places to visit and excursions are really just starting to open up due to Covid-19 and Memo hasn't given a tour in the past 4 months. Memo offers private tours to 3 different cenotes (underground, half-moon, and open). The underwater cenote does involve some swimming, so I was out of my comfort zone, however I had an incredible day taking in the natural beauty of the cenotes and learning about the history of their formation. We had the opportunity to meditate in the underwater cenote in infinity darkness for a couple minutes and exfoliated with some of the natural minerals there. We also got to touch the bark of a tree and its roots while being underground come back above ground and see the same tree! The tour consisted of myself, my friend, and Memo so imagine being able to take in so much beauty without having any additional people around! He picked us up from our hotel and provided comfortable transportation to and from the cenotes all with an incredible playlist. My primary point of concern is that there were A LOT of mosquitoes so I recommend finding a plant-based, vegan repellent for them. He responded back very quickly to any questions we had leading up to the day of our tour and is very knowledgeable about the history of the cenotes. All in all, I highly recommend booking any private tours with Memo! You're sure to have a great time!

Memo’s tours were the highlight of our trip— took us out of the touristic areas and gave us a unique and authentic look at Quintana Roo. He is knowledgeable and educational, but still gives you cold road beers and tequila shots! We wish there was a Memo in every country we visit. We floated a fresh water river looking for manatees, snorkeled in the largest underwater cave system in the world, swam with crocodiles and had the best tacos of our lives. He takes you around to local spots for the best tortas, fresh juice and other local favorites you wouldn’t otherwise know about. Highly recommend!

Memo came recommended to us by some locals in Puerto Aventuras. We ended up doing two tours with him because we had such a blast on the first one! We did a river float and also snorkeling in caves and cenotes. One of our favorite things about his tours is that we stopped for amazing food along the way that we would have never found on our own. This was unlike most guided tours that feel really commercial and touristy. I can’t recommend it enough!

We got picked up from our place of stay and it was a smooth quick drive to the underwater caves we visited. He was our tour guide through the caves as well and gave us a very detailed history of the formation and the family who owns it. Took us to a perfect lunch spot at the beach with great food and finished the day off by visiting the Mayan Temples. Really knows his stuff and was always super kind. A very beautiful experience
