Beautiful place and food is correct but poor service. Better to visit the museum only if you really want to come. As far as we are concerned: we won’t come back.

The food is similar to what you find all around Yucatan, no surprises there, but it has always been of good quality and tasty. The hacienda is well cared for and a great place to take pictures.

This seems to be the hacienda of the giant lizards because they were everywhere and I can't blame them- the hacienda is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. We stopped in for lunch and walked around before our meal. The cenote amphitheater...More

The Hacienda Ochil that I visited is south of Merida, not far from Uxmal, but very far from Valladolid (8 or 9 hours?). We only stayed for lunch, not overnight. Regards Kurt

Most dishes are Yucatecan. I think you will enjoy them thechi chen soup or sopa de Lima is excellent. I don't think you will have a problem. Everything is fresh and well presented and a variety.
