Visited Playa Norte with friend of mine after seeing the eastern side of the isla mujeres. Much calmer compared to east of the island. Nice clean sand. Blue and clean water. No big waves. You can also get a beach massage. There is a small place called I guess Dza kan ha in front of the Ixhel hotel, we liked... More

The titel tells everything....walk or take a short taxi ride from the ferry station. Nice restaurants and beachclubs are waiting for you - I personally can recommend the Tuturreque 33. Enjoy your holidays!

Definitely recommend stopping here. It was crowded but for good reason. Beautiful beach. Great place for kids to swim.

Playa Norte area is beautiful. Lots of sun, sand and drinks! We love to stroll the beach and stop at the many beach bars for a cocktail or snack.

We rented a couple of beach chairs for the day. A young man brought us whatever drinks we wanted all day. This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. You can walk out 100 yards and the water is only waist deep. Its one of my new favorites.

If your looking for picture perfect this beach is it. It doesn't get any better. Buy a blanket in town or rent and bed or chair.

Beautiful, crystal clear, calm water. Easily accessible from the north area of Isla Mujeres. Restaurants are available from the area.

Seriously on every single visit to this island there was trash welcoming us by the boat area, at the beach and on the streets, Playa Norte is not a wow beach it is an eyesore here and there, water too shallow, everything is overpriced and "tour dealers" are a headache because they promise certain prices and things to do and... My wife and I took a day trip to Isla Mujeres in March 2017. Not having any plans upon our arrival we decided to hang out at Playa Norte while we decided what else to do. The beach itself is very nice...soft sand, warm water, but it was pretty crowded when we visited. A lot of spring breakers with some... More
