We rented a golf cart for three days in March from DC Explorer. Alejandro (reccomended to us by Cultura Cruisers) gave us some of the best customer service we've ever had, including helping us find a quick solution when my boyfriend's ATM card wouldn't work during one day of our trip. We also added an extra day of cart rental at the last minute, and it was hassle-free. While the rental price wasn't the least expensive of the ones I found, the customer service more than made up for it. Another thing we loved was that the golf cart was delivered to our hotel and they also picked up it from our hotel. Highly recommended!!

Awesome experience! Service was impeccable from pickup to drop off, they made it very easy to sit back and relax and enjoy the day.
We were the first boat out there and it was incredible to see how many whale sharks there were. We got plenty of 1:1 time with the whale sharks. After we stopped at isla mujeres and enjoyed delicious ceviche.
5 stars, would definitely recommend!
I’m 34 weeks pregnant and felt very safe doing this the entire time.

We booked the Fast Pass transportation from Cancun to our rental home on Isla de Mujeres. This involved van, boat, and taxi transportation for 11.
Our flight was delayed 2 hours, and immigration and customs took a long time. It was almost 9pm by the time our phones got service. The driver was immediately in contact with me, directing me where to find him. He was waiting (and had been) with an air conditioned van to take us to the boat dock.
Because our flight was so late, the dock had practically closed but there were still people waiting from DC Explorers to take us over to the island. The crew on the boat quickly added our luggage and helped everyone onto the boat (we had some older and younger family members with us). The trip was smooth and when we arrived on the island, someone was waiting at the dock as well. Taxis were there within minutes and knew exactly where we were headed. They were friendly and knowledgeable along the way.
Return trip was great although we were informed first thing in the morning on our departure date that the harbor was closed due to high winds. DC arranged our Ultramar ferry tickets and delivered them to us at the terminal. Van driver was waiting on the other side to take us to the airport. Overall a fantastic experience that was really well coordinated and communicated by Julia and her boss at DC.
We also booked DC for a snorkel cruise which was fantastic.

I booked this snorkeling trip online, but called and spoke to Alex a few times beforehand. He was so nice and helpful. He explained the whole excursion to me,and helped me book it while we spoke. The resort i was visiting had their own tour group, but i wanted something different than what they offered. I was a bit concerned booking the tour on my own with a company i didn’t know anything about, but let me say, they exceeded my expectations! Captain Noah and his crew were amazing! Very personable and eager to give us the best experience. We were a party of 5 and every single one of us had a a great experience. I will be using Dc explorer every time I visit in the future. From the guy that picked us up to the guy that dropped us off, it was a pleasant experience all around. Thank you Dcexplorer for such a memorable experience. We look forward to our future excisions.

Booked round trip airport transfers to/from Isla. Airport pick up and transfer was flawless as so much easier than taxi/ferry option! Fast Pass service does not include transport on island, so you have to walk to take a taxi to Playa Norte hotels. Booking online was super easy. Staff also very responsive by phone/email when I triple checked our bookings.

DC Explorer helped coordinate all of the transportation for our most recent trip to Isla Mujeres. They arranged all of the round trip transportation for our group. They arranged private tranportation from the Canun Airport to the private water taxi that took across to the island. Once on the island, there were taxis waiting to take us to our VRBO house. DC Explorer also arranged for the rental and deliver of 2 golf carts to our home for the week. Julia was great to work with and answered all of our questions throughout the week and prior to our arrival.

DC Explorer is the best! It all starts with their excellent customer service! Timely responses, always on time, and create a life long memory! I can't say enough about how professional, fun, and effective their team is. I have used DC Explorer on multiple occasions for multiple services. Airport transfer, snorkeling, diving, whale sharks, and it was all excellent! This is a reputable company that you can count on, and I wouldn't risk my vacation with any other! Thx DC Explorer for another great vacation!

This was my second year swimming with the whale sharks. DC Explorers was by far the better tour. The guide was Sergio, (and I'm sorry, but I forgot the captain's name.) They are an established company in business for years. Sergio was great at getting us up as close as safely allowed. An incredible experience.

We have done so many snorkelling tours and dives all over the world and this was the first time I felt that what was going on was so cruel it disgusted me I wish I had never paid the money to participate in this.
The problem is not with the single tour operator alone there are too many boats and to many people in the water they a dropping two people in the water yes.
BUT so is the 30 other tour boats even with the two boats around the whale shark we were trying to see they dropped us in the water. It keeps swimming away then another boat cuts it off and drops more people in the water. And this continues for a couple of hours I’d say there was about 40 boats out there and about 15 whale sharks it’s terrible.
As soon as one surfaces and they see it the boats descend on it like there hunting them and it’s sarrounded by about 3 boats and 9 people in the water.
Absolutely TERRIBLE

It was a very nice trip and we saw a lof of whalesharks😍 the guide and the driver were very friendly and the food was perfect (we ate in the water at playa norte😍). Thanks for this wonderful experience!

Would like to know more about the whale shark tours. Five adults are staying on Isla Mujeres, July 27 thru August 1, 2018. Will be staying at Mayan Beach Resort.

From Cancun/Playa Del Carmen: After picking you up at your hotel´s lobby at 7am in Playa del Carmen and 8 am in Cancun (all our vehicles are comfortable, modern, and air-conditioned), we will be waiting for you at Punta Sam (15 minutes from Cancun) for registration and continental breakfast, or to rent a wet suit (if you have your own, bring it) at 9:00 am. After breakfast, we will be ready to swim with Whale Sharks in Cancun.
From Isla Mujeres: At 8:00 am we will be waiting for you at DC Explorer's office on Matamoros #11 in downtown. For registration and continental breakfast, or rent a wet suit (if you have your own, bring it) at 8:30 am (we don´t go to Cancun, we swim with Whale Sharks from Isla Mujeres).
We start our boat expedition towards North, for about 50 minutes, once we reach the feeding area we will spend around 3 hours snorkeling and swimming with the whale sharks; 2 persons at the time with a certified guide at all times, and if we are lucky enough with Manta Rays as well.
After snorkeling with Whale Sharks, and once everybody is on board, we will provide sandwiches while heading back we will stop at Isla Mujeres´s north beach for a delicious shrimp ceviche, guacamole and chips, plus a very refreshing cold beer.
This tour is NOT a private Isla Mujeres tour - that is booked as a Private VIP Whale Shark Tour.
