Overview
See colorful marine life on an Isla Mujeres snorkeling tour that includes two snorkeling location above shallow reefs. While deeper-water snorkeling spots put coral reefs beyond easy sight distance, these shallow reef locations give you an up-close view of the tropical fish, bright coral, and other marine wildlife. There’s no experience required, and included snorkeling gear provides everything you need to get in the water.

We had a wonderful two tank dive in el muso and a reef. The diving was better than we expected. Enrique was our dive master and he was very patient and professional in the way he conducted the dive. We felt very comfortable the entire time.

Such a great little location. I'm really glad we found it. We went on their whale shark excursion and also did two reef dives! It was absolutely breathtaking. Our dive master and guide Enrique was AMAZING. He made the experience a lot of fun and made sure we were safe the whole time, while also getting to appreciate the things we saw. I'm so glad my husband found this place, and we will be coming back next time we're in the area.

Pablo and his team were awesome! Enrique was really safe and fun to dive with. He has amazing eyes underwater and spotted so many little things that I would have never caught on my own. The shallow reefs of Isla provide easy diving and they are full of life! The night dive ranked as one of my top dives because there was so much to see! The whale shark tours were also stellar with these guys. Enrique and Jose were great guides in the water and Darwin is a master at positioning the boat for the best spot for you to jump in. Also an extra thanks to Pablo for offering to switch us days for better conditions. I would recommend booking the Whale Sharks twice. The first time you do it you will be so excited that it is hard to take it all in. Doing it a second time really allowed me create memories that my wife and I will never forget. Plus every day is different so the experience changes. I can’t think of a better way to spend $125.

We spent 2 days this week with Casa del Buceo: discovery diving and snorkeling with whale sharks. Both times led by Enrique. Never did diving before. This company takes this activity very serious. We watched video, practiced important skills on the shore, then in shallow water. Enrique is very calm and very skilled at what he is doing. He literally was holding hands with couple of us to navigate under water and was constantly watching over us. Diving the reef was amazing. Next day Enrique took us for snorkeling with whale sharks. We were very lucky to find not just few but couple of dozens of these magnificent creatures. Enrique is very good at taking pictures and movies under the water. These sharks are more like whales. They are very peaceful. No need to be scared at all. The most rough part of the trip was going to and back. We were lucky to spend less than an hour each way. I red reviews from unhappy customers that used other companies, that rides were rough, blaming operators for that part. I only want to say- there is no such a thing a smooth ride in deep sea. Sea always has some winds and waves. Boats are not big, only up to 10 allowed per boat by regulation. No one wants to spend 2 hours each way to go slow. So just embrace. Put scopolamine patch on night before, have zofran for nausea. I did both due to my tendency for sea sickness and first time in my life all went well. I wouldn’t suggest to bring timid child on this trip, it all can be too much. But for ppl who is open for adventures, there is nothing that can beat this one. It was exactly like on Discovery channel. Huge 20-30 feet creature passing few feet from you. We also saw giant manta rey. On the way we stopped at the beautiful beach at Playa Norte for lunch on the boat: sandwiches, yummy fruits, beer, water. I highly recommend this company. They do their job very responsibly. Safety was the most important part. I defenetly will take diving certification. It was love from first dive.

This was our second experience with Casa Del Buceo, and it was again, amazing. We had taken a scuba tour in November, which so much fun. When we asked about the whale shark experience, they recommended returning in late June early July, so we did. It was breathtaking! Enrique is an excellent guide and Jesús is an excellent captain. We were the first to locate a school of whale sharks once out in the open water, which gave us some uninterrupted time with these beautiful fish. We will be coming back for more!
