This was the best place to go on isla mujeres. They had ancient Mayan steam baths. Zip lining and dolphins for much much cheaper than anywhere else. Elizabeth was our hostess and was super helpful. She also got us a bunch of extra activities. Shoutout to royal garrafon for their great service and super friendly staff.

Great place to spend the day even for family. The front gate says closed and the people sitting at the desk aren't pushy but it is open. Front gate is not where u buy the tickets they just organize your activities for the day. You then check in at the gift shop. Lockers, food, drink and most activities are included for $50usd. They said zipline was extra but gave us 1 ride each for free and that's all you need, it's a 3 teir ride so you don't have to get wet. Snorkeling was surprisingly good lots of fish. Pool was nice and drinks were great. Didn't get to try out the sauna or massages ran out of time relaxing. Food was average but included in entry price, and to get on the zip line you aren't allowed any kind of phone or gopro to take pictures and you have to get ur wrist band marked prior to going up the hill which we didn't know so bit of a muck around.

Paid for the royal VIP experience. Not worth the price. As mentioned by many other guests, the buffet is very mediocre and limited. Line was ridiculously long. The catch is that on the website they make it seem as since you are paying for the full royal VIP experience everything is included. HOWEVER, as I waited in line to eat from the “all inclusive” buffet, I was told that I would have to pay extra for the shrimp (??). Not many food options and that’s not even being a picky eater. There simply aren’t enough option for a so called “all inclusive buffet”. I asked for drinks and was told the waiter would come to my table. That did not happen. Let’s not mention how outrageously expensive it is to get pictures from your adventures since phones aren’t allowed (aka in the zip line area). Also, it was extremely difficult to find shade. I get it, it’s a tropical place but you don’t want to be under the sun from basically 9am to 5:30pm. I couldn’t wait to leave this place as the boat felt like taking forever to arrive. Very disappointed and will not be recommending this place.

Went here as recommended for a good snorkel place. There is ONE NARROW little place to snorkel, with a life jacket only...so you are basically bobbing, and not swimming or snorkeling...nothing to see here underwater except a few sergeant majors. The buffet was just OK, and had to wait a long time to be served tiny little drinks to have with our lunch. Waited in a line to be served. This whole island has been ruined by massive over-tourism. Trash piled everywhere, streets flooded with people and no masking...
