Outstanding to say the least. With Delta not flying to Cozumel, we needed another option, other than the ferry to get from Cancun to Cozumel. If you have done the ferry you know its an all day affair. Cab, shuttle, or buss to Playa, then stand in line for the ferry plus drag your bags from where you are dropped off to the ferry. Then drag them again at the pier in Cozumel. Pray the sea is smooth for the trip, and they ferries have space, they are running, and that they will be ontime.
FlyCozumel was a one stop option for us that was elegant, safe, relaxing, and had excellent attention to detail. 20 minutes and we were in Cozumel. 10 more minutes and we were at the resort sipping drinks.
I connected with the staff via email and they responded quickly and help with all my questions and concerns prior to booking. I was equally impressed with their questions, such as what luggage we would have. As divers, we have two large 50 lb dive bags, plus two suitcases, a regulator bag, plus two small backpacks. (Yes, we travel light!) While staff felt comfortable they would fit in the plane, they asked if I could measure and weigh them so they could be 100% confident. Impressive! Of course, they did, with no issues as we were two adults plus our bags.
In Cancun we were met by a driver with a sign. He assisted with our bags, got us to the FBO where we were met by our pilot. We went through additional security as well as a covid questionnaire and hand and shoe sanitation. Masks were required at all times by everyone involved.
The flight was short, fast and FUN! My wife sat next to the pilot and the impressive glass cockpit controls. Amazing views. As a former Cessna 172 pilot I was very impressed in the pilots skills. As we taxied, the tower placed us in line behind the long line of commercial flights. He negotiated with the tower for the other runway which we were given which allowed us to leave in a few minutes. Landing in Cozumel we had a strong crosswind, but you would never have know it as the landing was soft and smooth.
A taxi was waiting and we were off. Coming back was the same quality and luxury. Can't wait to fly with them in the future.

I have had the pleasure of flying several times with FLY COZUMEL. They are professional and friendly, with great pilots and an awesome staff. They are friendly and always there to try and make whatever the trip may be a comfortable one. The pilots are well trained and continue training often. The pilots I have met were pilots on everything from a Cessna to an Airbus! As a private pilot I am impressed with the very new planes they have in their system. Anna who apparently is in charge, answers promptly when calling or by messenger on their website. I have flown several times back and forth from Cozumel to Cancun and it is easy, quick, and a very memorable flight. I cannot say enough about the fabulous men and women of FLYCOZUMEL! They actually saved me from a very critical problem not long ago and I am forever Thankful.

With COVID, flying options Cancun to Cozumel are limited and Fly Cozumel was a pleasure to work with. Leo and team are very responsive, answered all my Q's, and have a really nice plane (Planes?) as well. Just a fantastic, professional experience all around!

Had an excursion booked departing on 3/4 of this year from Cozumel to Chichén Itźa. Emailed to confirm as we are a little over a week away. When I didn’t hear anything ask after a couple days, I went to their website and a message appeared stating that they are no longer in operation! I emailed again asking for my deposit back and have not heard anything (just emailed yesterday). This is unfortunate as we were really looking to go on this trip. I’m hopeful that Fly Cozumel will refund any deposits and will update this if they do. That said, the right thing to do would have been to notify anyone that had upcoming reservations, rather than having the customer find out that they are no longer in business a week prior to departure!!

My husband and I are on a 2 week trip in the Riviera Maya. The first week was in Playa Del Carmen, the second week in Cozumel. I thought it would be a nice treat to book a private flight to the island from Play Del Carmen. I inquired and reserved the flight 3 weeks in advance. They said they had confirmed all of our details at the time of booking. We were to get a taxi from our hotel to the airport in Playa Del Carmen. We were informed that due to Covid, we were not allowed into the airport until 15 minutes before our flight (our flight was booked at 1130).
After arguing with the taxi driver that we indeed were going to the small airport in Playa, we arrived around 1100. We were allowed to enter where we were informed to wait and our pilot would meet us. At 1129, I messaged Fly Cozumel since the pilot had not arrived. I ended up calling. I talked to Anette, who said she would review my information and get back to me. She informed me there was a delay in Cozumel and the plane hadn’t left yet.
Due to an “operational situation that couldn’t be prevented” our flight would be delayed 30 minutes (for a 1130 flight, this would mean 1200). we were informed that our pilot would be Abraham. She did say sorry about the delay a few times.
Abraham arrived at the airport around 1230, and we were allowed to board around 1240. He barely greeted us, and when I asked him if everything was ok, he informed me that he hadn’t been told about our flight.
He helped us load our luggage into the plane, took our picture with the plane (on our request), got us situated and we left. There was no safety briefing as other discussed, barely any interaction.
The flight was smooth. Good take of and landing. We were greeted by another gentleman at the airport whom helped us with our bags to the taxi area.
From there, there was no other communication from the company. I feel as if our reservation was forgotten, I feel as if we were almost a waste of their time. If they missed our reservation, I feel as if that should have been communicated better than an operational issue that couldn’t be avoided. You can avoid missing a reservation, you can avoid neglecting to tell a pilot about a scheduled flight.
I booked Fly Cozumel because of their great reviews, I just wish that we had received that same great service.

Dear Christina. Thank you for your review. We are sorry you have these feelings. Happy passengers that keep flying with Fly Cozumel with a smile is what we aim for. The vast majority of our operations go very smooth, without any delay. As in each life and in each business sometimes a situation appears that causes a position you prefer not to be in. We activated our pilot Abraham while he was not supposed to fly this day. As we truly (!) felt sorry for the hour of delay we offered you by email a 50% discount on your return flight from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen. Please don´t feel forgotten. Or that you were a waste of our time. We are a passionate team and care about each and single passenger.

We flew to Cozumel mid-September with another couple. It was very easy to check-in for the flight at Playacar. The pilot was on time and we were quickly on our way for a less than 10 minute trip to Cozumel. No waiting in lines in the hot sun waiting to board a cramped Ferry!! The service on the way back to Playacar was just as great. Easy check-in, clean facility and a quick trip back to Playacar. We will absolutely use Fly Cozumel again. Great service, no lines and great views. We are so glad we found this company! Thank you Fly Cozumel!!!!

We used Fly Cozumel to travel between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel for a day trip to avoid the ferry. It was fantastic! Easy to work with Fly Cozumel to set up the timing of flights and payments. The flight was fantastic, quick, and super easy with beautiful views.

This is the best way to get to Cozumel from Cancun! We used them for a private flight, round trip, and it was so easy! They met us at the exit of the Cancun airport, drove us to the private side, we met our Captain, Chris, loaded up and we were off! It was so fun to listen to all of the pilots talking on the headsets and Chris did an amazing job of pointing out landmarks and explaining what was going on. When we landed in Cozumel we grabbed our cab and we were off to our resort. It was just as easy flying back to Cancun.
This experience had my husband smiling from ear to ear. It was so amazing, easy to navigate and very comfortable and safe. The communication with the staff was great as well.
I would highly recommend FlyCozumel's services, I know we will use them again when we return!

Took a short flight from Cancun to Cozumel with a friend and the experience was great. The pilot is very friendly and experienced, we felt very safe and comfortable.
It was a great option for getting to Cozumel from Cancun during Covid as the flight is private — only us and the pilot.
I highly recommend Fly Cozumel and will definitely fly with them again in the future.

We flew with FlyCozumel from Playa Del Carmen to Cozumel and back and had a fantastic experience. Brand new planes, good pilots, and wonderful service. 10 minute flight! We will definitely be using them in the future for our travel to Cozumel and would recommend them without reservation. A fantastic service to supplement the ferry service which has gotten bad during COVID. Thanks Leo and Annette!
