Review of: Punta Sur Eco Beach Park
My husband and I got there when they first opened. We were greeted by an employee (her name began with an M) when we arrived. She was very energetic and passionate about the park and wildlife. She was especially passionate about the birds. I told her I wanted to see flamingos and she hopped in our car and showed us 2 places they might be. On the way she pointed out multiple other birds and lizards. We climbed this tower and she pulled out some binoculars and found where the flamingos were and she lent me a set of binoculars and pointed them out. She also showed us a nesting eagle and multiple other birds. She knew all of the types of birds and their habits. She was very energetic. Then on the way back to the lighthouse, she showed us where the crocodile, Maria, lived. She searched and found her and pointed her out to us. This lady is an amazing person and really made us feel welcome and like she loves her job. Some people complained about the condition of the road. I did not think it was that bad. You could easily drive it in a car. It is a better road than cobblestone. The beach area was nice. There are a lot of shaded chairs. One thing I did not like were the food vendors wanting you to buy their food. They were not overbearing though. The water was beautiful. We saw some stingrays and a lot of fish. The bathrooms and changing room was clean. The only shower is outside. We would go back again.…

My husband & got there when they first opened so we could climb up the lighthouse without a crowd. We the only ones there other than the giant iguanas. I am five foot one inch tall and I smacked my head at the top of the lighthouse. The view from up top were superb. It started getting hot so we took our pictures and climbed down. We got a guided hike through the flora & fauna near the lighthouse. The young lady was an actual biologist and avid bird watcher so she had a ton of info. She showed us a cenote and some of the history of them. Her tour was very interesting. We also looked through the maritime museum. Then we walked through the tequila tasting area. We don’t drink tequila so we walked quickly. My husband climbed up a wooden tower in the crocodile area to see the crocs but they were a no show. We then drove the 5 miles or so to the beach area. We brought our own snorkel equipment and hung out on the beach till the boat tour started. The boat tour had a biologist on it also. Everything we did was included with the price of admission. We did tip the biologists and thanked the iguana for keeping an eye on our vehicle. Lol.…

Review of: Punta Sur Eco Beach Park
We're the type who love to go go go! This is a place where you go to do nothing. We went down a road that felt like a hour drive. Everyone treated us like first class. If you want to sit on a exclusive beach and lounge/snorkel with spectacular service, this is you. Be prepared for this bill, a bit pricey. …
