We have been diving many places throughout the Caribbean & Hawaii, & Living Under Water is by far the best dive operator we have encountered! Jeremy, Pepe, & Ricardo provide a fantastic dive experience & are amazing people as well. Concierge diving at its best! Can’t wait to come back to Cozumel & dive with them again!

Kindness, professionalism, friendliness and fun comes from the top down. With its fast boat and small diver groups, Living Underwater gave us individualized attention that I never imagined possible. It is flexible giving one the ability to dive where you want to dive. We dove Santa Rosa Wall twice, Columbia Wall, San Francisco Wall and Cathedral, not to mention the many other fantastic reefs. Pepe, Riccardo and Jeremy were determined to give my son and me the best experiences possible. Its steel tanks gave us exceptional, unparalleled bottom time. Pepe even allowed me to use his fins the entire week just because I told him that I was considering a new fin purchase upon my return to the U.S. The kindness comes through their hearts, certainly not from the typical desire to commercially promote business, It was likely my best week of diving during my 25(+) years of diving. For example, during 20 minutes of our night dive, we were surrounded by a school of squid -- surreal. Thank you all.

This was my first time diving with Living Underwater, my other dive operator was out of town and recommended them (+1) as a stand-in. Pre-arrival communication was great and all paperwork was handled as any good shop would do. When I arrived I sent a text to them and Jeremy came to my hotel, met me in the lobby, picked up all my gear talked about my weights, and checked that everything was in working order. We also chatted about the upcoming dives and what I was interested in. On the day of my first and all other dives, I was met at my hotel's pier, on time and my gear was already set up. I checked it over as we went to our first site and had a good safety briefing before hitting the water. All the dives were great, the other guests were great, and the divemaster pointed out all kinds of stuff... just as you would expect. Return and reboarding the boat was very easy and orderly with the crew bringing my BSD onboard before I climbed the ladder. I did have a gear issue on one dive as my octo had a slow leak... when we got on the boat the crew/divemaster took care of a quick repair and I was back to 100%. Sadly my dive days had to come to an end and my gear was cleaned, dried, and returned to me ready to pack. This was a 10 out of 10 dive experience

What a fantastic operation! From friendly and helpful divemaster Pepe, to Ricardo and the Captain hauling up your tanks at the end of a dove, so all you have to do is climb up the ladder, diving is so easy with them. You feel cared for and respected every time you interact with them. Jeremy, the owner, is very easy to communicate with, and quickly responds to emails and texts. He picks up your gear from you at your hotel the night before you start diving with them, and you don't have to worry about it again until the day after your last dive, when Jeremy brings it all back to you clean and dry! I could go on and on, but so many other reviewers have also said all these things. When you read all these reviews, you're almost thinking, no way can this be real... but it truly is, and there is no one we would ever dive with in Cozumel than Living Underwater, hands down. They spoil our expectations even for diving elsewhere in the world! We've been diving with them since 2010 and have over 500 dives each.

Although I'm very new and don't have a ton of experience (went with under 20 dives but have my AOW) Living Underwater set the bar very high. I hired a private guide to fine tune my skills, mainly buoyancy. I feel that Jeremy went above and beyond. He met with me the day before to discuss my prior experience and also to evaluate my needs. On the dive days, he, along with the entire crew (Captain Andre, 1st Mate Ricardo, and Divemaster Pepe) were very kind and accommodating. My gear was stored for me and set up before my arrival. Jeremy was very kind and reassuring with his feedback aimed to improve my skills as requested. My non diver friend was welcomed and able to snorkel since there was room on the boat. Under the water, not only did Jeremy help my skills, he used a slate to explain different things I was seeing (not just fish bit the different interactions like a cleaning station and Sgt. Major aerating eggs, etc). He helped me gain a better understanding and appreciation for the underwater world and it was an incredible experience I will never forget. It is very evident that the crew takes pride in their work and loves what they do. They bring fruits, snacks, waters, and dive jackets for the divers too. On the dive boat there were repeat customers who had developed a good rapport with the crew and have been returning for years. I felt very comfortable and in the end dove with the crew and even added on more dives. It was nice to have a smaller boat/group. I will always be thankful for this experience and it was a good foundation to start with.
