Review of: Playa Uvas All-Inclusive VIP Day Pass
This is not a Beach, not real sand not place to swim. It is covered with rocks, it has sandbags so you can try toget into the water. The only thing is true, it is for snorkeling. Unfortunately we got screwed in Playa del Carmen by this salespeople who works together with the cashiers at the Ferry. They offer us a great discount and better prices than buying in Cozumel. The welcome drinks was a 6 ounces cup of beer, it was warm and the waiter was rude. We were there for 30 minutes. The worst part was the taxi driver, we wanted to swim at the beach, we went to anotherplace named Paradise Beach on that Friday June 17 st 4:00 pm the distance between playa uvas and paradise beach is 7 minutes ride and the taxi charged me $15 I told him that was an abuse, he is a thief,he was rude and demanding. My worst experience in these areas were the TaXi drivers, this guy in Playa Uvas Cozumel was the winner. They want to take advantage of the tourists…

And they scammed my money by saying that we didn’t show up. We even called TripAdvisor about it and they won’t give us a refund.…

We booked this beach as "Clear Kayak and Beach Snorkeling Combo", from Royal Caribbean, but all of the guides in the photos work for this location/company. They showed up late to get us and they pay for taxis to get you there, constantly promising they are pay for the ride. The beach is rocks for 20 feet out and you better bring water shoes! The water is not accessible to the handicapped. To get people with normal capabilities into the water, there are sandbags over the sharp rocks. My mother uses a walker and I could barely get myself into the water without falling, so it was a no go for mom. Beers are $5 and drinks $10. Look at the photos they provide here. You will see only one photo with the "beach" rocks. The rest just show people in close frame. They own the whole place so money is the game. At the end of the day, the guide and taxi dropped off have my party at the wrong pier , so they walked back to the right pier, about a miles walk.…
