Lovely church

Quaint and local. Services offered in Spanish only. Lovely church. Services nightly. Right downtown in San Miguel. Plenty of parking.

An amazing religious experience for my family. We, unfortunately, are not Spanish speaking but had no problem following along the traditional Catholic mass. The people were lovely and welcoming. The priest was exceptional. The church is beautiful, humble and colorful with lots of devout parishioners. Attend the Sunday 10 AM mass, and you will be happy you did.

Downtown Cozumel, the beautiful church was full for Mass, very friendly people. The celebration was lively. After Mass we walked to the Ferry Port. Several shops were open, many people walking. The church itself was a wonderful experience.

We had the privilege of attending mass on a Saturday night and a wedding took place. The Catholic beliefs in Cozumel are quite strong and their ceremony was beautiful. Church is so fresh, no air conditioners were needed.

We attended part of a service and though we don't speak fluent Spanish, they have a wonderful priest and seem to have a good spirit in their church.

We were walking around downtown and when we came back from dinner, a Sunday night church service was going on. We stood there and listen and it was so cool to listen to the service!

My wife and I wanted to attend a Catholic Mass in Mexico and went to this one. We were the only Americans but felt completely welcomed. Of course we had trouble understanding all of the language it followed along with the American Mass. Next time in Cozumel - we will go again.

This beautiful cathedral about a block from the plaza in San Miguel was open to the public when we visited Cozumel. There was a solitary worshipper in deep prayer so the decision to leave it open for visitors is a good one. There is lots of hard wood and colors of gold in the design of this church. It is... More

Not far from the ferry pier, this small lovely chapel is a very spiritual place. Warm yellow stained glass and inset panels with saints and inscriptions.

How many sacred places can you walk into in the middle of the day, kneel and pray, in absolute peace?
