What a great surprise. This place gets a lot of the tours stopping there so when the ships are in it can be busy..The good thing is that it a large space and the seating dining areas are spread out so it doesn't feel like people are sitting on top of you. The beers are super cold and the mixed drinks are big and strong. The food is amazing... great variety and priced right. They have menus in pesos and dollars and currently have a 20/1 exchange rate. Fernando took great care of us. Attentive and friendly. They have a few small shops and they are staffed by really friendly people. They are not pushy but they will stop by your beach chair and show you what they have..(only once...not pushy at all) The value for the money is also good. They have massages available too. You can get what they call a free sample which is a 5 min shoulder massage...A place we will go back to...

Punta Morena is our pilgrimage spot every time we go to Cozumel. 20 years ago I got caught in a rip current on the beach, and a bartender saw me, grabbed a surfboard and saved my life. The place was totally destroyed in 2005 with hurricane Wilma, but had been rebuilt extensively after that. What broke our hearts when we arrived was that the Hurricanes in the fall of 2020, although not hitting Cozumel directly, had once again done heavy damage to the East side of the Island, especially Punta Morena. The main building had the roof torn off, and the long wooden porch had been destroyed. Thankfully, the kitchen was running, and the bar was operational. Enjoyed great fresh seafood, and the best habanero salsa I've ever had. The staff was fantastic, and treated us as family.

My favourite place on the Island. Beautiful improvements to the property and service by Wille exceptional as always. Not happy about the new “dogs allowed “ change. The east side is the place to turn off the noise of traffic and barking dogs. I hope this is temporary.

We found this place exploring the island, we stopped for some drinks and to relax, this is the best spot for that! We loved the sea, the waves and ordered some food which was very tasty. We will come back to this wonderful beach!

We stopped here to relax on the beach and play in the waves . Found some nice sea glass along the shore . Had great piña coladas and our server Roland was amazing ! A storm blew in and chased us away but it was still a great time plenty of shade spots to lounge in . Beach was kept super clean as well .
