Punta Morena is a calm and quiet beach in the east side of the island farder away from the main cruise beaches,in our stablishment we have many ammenities such as: a seefood and mayan cousin restaurant, coktel drinks in the bar, massages, 3 pools (2 for children 1 for adults) big chairs on the beach, hammocks, a natural pool made between the rocks in the ocean (so its safe from big waves)and one of the best panoramic views to the caribbean ocean.

The food is amazing. The beach is laid back and accessible. There aren't huge crowds like there are in other areas of the island. The staff are accommodating. I could've spent many more hours here.

We love cruising. However, the crowds can drive us crazy. So, we always look for the out of the way corners in order to escape the crazy. Punta Morena is perfect for this. Take a cab, spend the day, relax in a beach hammock, get...More

I will always make a point of coming back to Punta Morena. Best Ceviche and habanero salsa ever. This time I had the lobster pizza. Excellente! The renovations and restoration have just about been completed. It still looks like a Corona commercial, and just melting...More

We visited during an afternoon of exploring Cozumel's east side. Food prices were ok considering there was no cover ($3/4 USD for beer and $18 for a sharing taco plate) but the waiter took the liberty of adding a 20% tip and also ask for...More

Great location, lots of chairs, hammock, sand, salt water pool. Food is mediocre! Usual tourist sales stuff. But if you want a view and chill out this the place to be.

We have been on over 5 cruises to Cozumel and we found Punta Morena to be our favorite spot. I love seeing the waves and they are beautiful there! It is free to go but they do expect you to spend $10 per person which...More

This is a beach club/bar - they even have a small pool with lounge seats and lots of hammocks to chill in. Drink menu is vast and they bring your drinks to you quickly. I've never eaten here. Come for the day or stop by...More

Stopped here for a late lunch while exploring the east side of the island on our last day. There was not a large crowd, a few families in the pool and just a couple other tables occupied. Took a few minutes for waiter to check...More

We found Punta Morena after our original beach plans were canceled due to the weather. The view is beautiful, tons of hammocks and chairs to enjoy the beach. They will tell you there's no cover charge but you're expected to pay $10 per person in...More

Well I honestly don't know. I would try to contact them before hand. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and just showing up may work if you are not requiring their services for anything but good and drink services.

You do not need reservations, but it is not a free beach. I would recommend reservations and get a package deal that includes transportation as well as the beach amenities. You can go through a company like Shore Trips... More
