Beautiful little beach
May 2021
We rented a jeep and spent the day here. This beach is on the southeast of Cozumel, vey secluded beach and few little restaurants and bars along the road. Panoramics are great and water was just nice.

Wonderful beach

This was such a beautiful beach. The surf was a little rough the day we were there but the white sand and help with chairs, umbrellas and food delivery made it all worth it.

Yes, this is “Almost” an undiscovered beach. When conditions are right, this is one of the top three or even top two beaches on the island. Flat, clean (no rocks) firm bottom and you can wonder 50 yards into the ocean and be waist deep. I have been visiting Cozumel for over 20 years and 14 plus trips and somehow, I just found this beach a few years back. It has been built up for tourist over the past few years but unlike Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, there is no entry fee and the “Built up" part is “Off Beach".... You can rent a few beach chairs and umbrellas for typically 10 to 20 bucks (four chairs and two umbrellas) very negotiable. Staying for several hours pay the twenty bucks. Staying for just a couple of hours, tell the man and offer a few less bucks. The last time there we could still bring our own cooler with drinks and snacks. There is beach service also but it is a little spotty. So, you can also walk up to the big hut and purchase drinks and food and bring back to your beach chairs.

Bit tip for you to know. If you are planning on spending the day in the water conditions will be best when the wind is out of the west. When the wind is strong and out of the east the wave get big (but fun) so plan on staying close to shore. There is lifeguard service at the beach. Also when the winds are strong out of the east you could have seaweed and entry and on the beach. With that said, if all you did was to go and see the beach, it will be a lasting memory.

Beautiful free beach

Lovely white sand that stretch on for ages. There is a beach bar on the other side of the road with a few tourist stalls and washrooms. We were warned of the current, but the waves were nice.

Beach paradise

Cozumel has so many wonderful beaches. Each have their speciality. This one was great for body surfing and swimming. The sand was soft and the beach was clean and not crowded. Cant wait to revisit.

A slice of heaven
Dec 2019 • Family
When arriving at the beach before 10 am we were almost alone. The nice guy working at the beach fixed chairs for us for the price of 300 pesos for 2 chairs and an umbrella which was needed because of the strong sun. This is the most beautiful beach I have ever visited. The sand was so white and the water Chrystal clear. unfortunately no snorkeling at this place but wow. If you visit Cozumel you need to come here!

SEA TURTLES
Aug 2019
Such an amazing experience- scootering around the island and popping off to this little slice of heaven! Volunteers hard at work to protect the sea turtles! We had the pleasure of helping almost 100 turtles hatch! Surreal. Rodrigo the life guard was amazing at facilitating the safety of the turtles while we waited for marine patrol/police to come. Ray runs the bar across the street to serve cold drinks and the BEST guacamole ! There are bathrooms, food, drinks, lifeguards, chaise lounges and umbrellas. A great spot for pictures and quite time as it does not get crowded.

Absolutely beautiful beach. It was very calm the day we were there and there was a lifeguard present during our mid-afternoon visit.

Beware Of Policia!
Oct 2019 • Couples
There’s some offset speed bumps across the road, and instead of going over them I went around them. This resulting in having to pay them off 500 Pesos. As the the other option was having my driver’s license taken and apparently paying $100 USD at the station. Make sure you go over the bumps if you’re on a scooter not around them! They clearly hangout at San Martin because of this ridiculous speed bump design. Nevertheless, the beach was great! Awesome spot to crash in the waves but that’s about it! Unless you’re grabbing food or drinks of course. We did not do that and found a nice small palm tree with shade to hangout in! Everyone will tell you not to go in past your waist because Cuba is hundreds of miles away. Highly recommend you take their advice! Big waves, if you want to avoid getting tossed around, dive under them before they crash! Have fun and be safe.
