We boarded the Fury Catamaran at the port which was a huge plus for us! The crew was super friendly and went out of their way to make the guests happy. As we boarded the catamaran, we were given life vests and individually wrapped snorkel/masks for snorkeling. This saved a significant amount of time later when it was time to snorkel. The only “negative” I would mention about our entire 4-hour experience is that it was too crowded snorkeling. Too many people in a small area. Otherwise, the beach area with Aqua Park was incredible. There was never a line for the free beer and margaritas and there was a nominal feel of $11 for a hamburger and chips. Great deal in my opinion! The catamaran did not feel crowded. Free beer and margaritas were available during the entire trip back to the port. The music was great and the crew made it fun! I definitely recommend this excursion!

We went on a cruise to Cozumel in August of 2022 and chose to do the sail and snorkel excursion with Fury. This was one of the best excursions I've done. To get to the boat you walk through the shops at the end of the cruise pier and the catamaran is pretty much right there to the left. A guy with a sign directs you. Our guide on the boat, Ángel, was funny, friendly and very thorough with the instructions and the rest of the crew was very helpful as well. The snorkeling spot was incredible and the water was some of the clearest I've seen. We saw tropical fish and huge coral formations. On the ride to the private beach area, we had free drinks and got a chance to race another fury boat which was very fun. The beach area was beautiful and the water was clear even near the shore. Me and my little brother loved the inflatable waterslides, although they might be tough for some people to climb so keep that in mind because it's a long drop! The boat crews served as lifeguards while we were at the beach and aquapark. They had hamburgers at the beach but I didn't try one although they looked pretty good. Before we left, I bought a handmade backpack at the souvenir stand on the beach. The guys at the souvenir stand weren't overly pushy like you see a lot of times. Finally on the way back to the ship we had a dance party on deck which was a blast. The only downside I can think of is that there were a lot of people on the boat. It didn't bother me at all but I could see why some people wouldn't like that. That being said, it didn't feel crowded because it's a big boat (65 ft.) and there are different areas to hang out including a second deck and the dance party took place away from the seating area. The beach didn't feel crowded either, in fact it was a lot less crowded than some of the popular beaches. If you're going on a cruise and have limited time, then this is a great choice. Pretty much everything you could want is included so you don't have to worry about finding a way to do it all with your limited time. You even have plenty of time to go shopping or eat at a restaurant when you are done. I would highly recommend Fury to everyone!

Good snorkeling; lots of fish, could have been longer, about 30 minutes. Afterwards, the free bar opened (beer and margaritas) and our party cruise headed to the beach, which was nicely set up, with chairs in the sun and shade and water activities, such as kayaks, inflatable slides, a water trampoline, etc. Drinks were complimentary on the beach and there was food to purchase. The crew selected good music on the return trip, even playing requested songs. Half the boat was dancing on the return trip. One note: the excursion pick up was in a different place than described on the ticket, separate from the main pick up location at the end of the pier.

What a fun experience!!!! My only complaint is I wish it was a longer excursion.

The workers on the boat stress safety precautions. The workers were very friendly and worked hard to make sure everyone had a fun time. We started with a safety talk. Then we took a short ride to a place to snorkel. Getting off the boat to snorkel was a little hurried. When we snorkeled they had someone in the water feeding the fish and taking pictures. We saw beautiful fish. Snorkeling lasted approximately 45 minutes.

There was an open bar on the catamaran. The workers worked hard to make sure everyone got their fair share of drinks. After we snorkeled we went to a private beach with blow up slides and a trampoline. We were at the private beach approximately a little over an hour. There were free drinks and food to purchase.

Good to Know:
-Bring money to tip. These workers worked very hard to make sure everyone was having a great time.
-Bring an underwater camera if you have one. The fish were beautiful.
-You can use your own snorkel gear if you want.

This was an excursion offered by RC cruises. It was awesome! I highly recommend! We had a great time snorkeling and the beach area was outstanding. I cannot believe all our drinks were included in price (What a bargain… you really could add a charge and it would still be worth it). We had a wonderful time! Thank you to Jorge and his crew family.

This was the nicest option on a cruise that I have taken in a very long time. Snorkeling was good; members of my groups really didn’t want to go but ended up having an awesome time. Then off to a private beach…plenty of chairs and good cheeseburgers. Refreshments in the catamaran were included in the price. I am sure that their are longer snorkeling adventures but this one could be just the right fit for everyone in your group.

This is a relatively short excursion but lots of fun! First they give you a snorkle and fins. You use a yellow life vest which they require. The water was choppy on the day we went but it is really pretty under the water the mask is really easy to see through. You stay near the boat (they do not allow you to go very far). There are staff in the water with you to assist in various ways. Seems very safe! The water was just a little tiny bit cool (in January) when you FIRST get in but then withing a minute or two feels just fine. YOu walk down some steps and they assist you into the water. After snorkeling it is a nice boat ride (15 minutes) to a beach where you can play and swim and sun and shade! Fun and free beer and margs! (you can buy a hamburger but I think that is the only food) You do have to walk through waist deep water when getting off the boat. I would have liked a little more time on the beach (it was about 1.5 hours). The boat ride back to Cozumel was SOOO fun I could not even believe it. They played fun dancing music and Carribean music and the staff danced and served drinks and it was amazing! Hint: wear your swim suit onto the boat with maybe a cover up or t-shirt. You could change into dry clothes after everything but the boat bathroom is smallish for changing clothes. Do not change on the beach because you have to walk thru the waist high water to get back on the boat. Temperature in January was fine though with a shirt and suit.

We were first-time snorkelers; non-helpful staff; were discouraging us from getting into the water.

They should have clearly mentioned that the snorkeler needed to be expert swimmers on their website. It is an 'average' waterpark but kids and I enjoyed it. They had only beef burgers and nothing else as a food option.

They were lucky in terms of getting our business as we did not want to explore other options; we did not want to miss getting back to the ship on time.

Trip on 02/24/2023 Our whole family chose this excursion, and it turned out to be a great decision. Our group was between 6- and 76-years-old and was fun for everyone. The activity was very well organized, beginning with issuance of your snorkel, vest sizing, safety briefing and free "refreshments" on the way out. At the dive location there was a walk down from the deck and entering was easy. Lifeguards were along, and in the water with us so it was safe. Water is clear with lots of fish with you. Next stop was the beach, and it too was fun. Lots of things for the children and very clean. "Refreshments" are served too. I was surprised there was not a charge for drinks, but they were included on the whole trip. Kayaks are free too. Only thing that was additional was food. Stayed at the beach 90 minutes and returned with more drinks and dancing on the way back. Overall, a very memorable excursion with a crew that contributed to the fun. I highly recommend this one!

My husband and I had a fury catamaran trip through the Celebrity Apex. We were on boat #5 on March 23 (I want to make sure the correct crew get credit). Anyway the crew worked hard to make sure everyone had a good time. The snorkeling was pretty good (we are very experienced snorkeling), although having to wait for everyone to get off was kind of painful (fortunately we were the first in the water).
The crew should have emphasized the importance of using reef safe sunscreen only.
Otherwise they were very organized and emphasized safety as first priority.
After snorkeling they kept the drinks flowing and music playing.
The beach was very clean and we were pleased to see plenty of chairs and hammocks to relax in. Overall great experience!
