    The Money Bar of Cozumel
The money is just across the street from The Landmark condos where we stayed. The food is average. The key lime pie is awesome. The beach is just a little place but with chairs to lay out, tables and umbrellas to eat at and some shade if you need it. They have fantastic snorkeling right off the ladder. Just go off the ladder and go left. The reef is right along the coast and has some gorgeous fish. There are also some nice spots if you go right off the ladder. If you go out to the bouys there are also some nice areas. Warning, there is often a strong current there. At some times of the day, it was an easy swim, but at others, I had a very difficult time. During the day I have found the service to be lacking and mostly I had to order my own food or drinks at the bar. In the evening, the service is much better. They have happy hour from 5-7 pm. They also have a Starbucks coffee station. I like the convenience of the place when staying at the condo.

Great place to snorkel and eat!
Great snorkeling and food. Took a Taxi from the cruise port over to the money bar. We brought our mask and snorkel, but you can also rent them there too. Plenty of table and chairs. A lot of cool fish and a little coral to see. This is where snorkel boats bring their guest to snorkel. Be careful getting in and out of the water, stairs are very slippery and some holes at the end of them. Great food and service, just know all prices are in peso. Will definitely be going back!

Great bar and restaurant plus snorkeling access.
Nice place. Good drinks. It's a bit pricey, not bad. Perfect spot to eat, drink, relax, and snorkel. There is no beach, but there is easy water access. Located off main road on access road.

Nice day off the ship snorkling
Taxi to the money bar from the cruise port $15. Upon arrival got a couple of loungers and an umbrella. They don’t charge for this but obviously expect you to have food and drinks. Considering we had paid $30-$40 dollars at every other island we visited spending a few more dollars for some food was a good deal. Right on the waterfront great snorkling from steps at the club. Showers and facilities are great as is the service. Not expensive either definitely worth the short trip.

    Can't beat free snorkeling here!
Our car rental owner advised us about this "free" snorkeling site in Cozumel. We had a wonderful time one morning around 09:30am and would recommend to anyone to come a bit earlier before more people arrive. There is free parking. Entry into the water is just "north" of the Money Bar Beach Club Restaurant. No showers are available. But, the water is calm and there are fish to be found in the small little reefs.

Beautiful beach with great views and food
Absolutely loved my day trip here. The staff were amazing, food was great and overall 10/10. There were also a lot of fish around which made snorkeling very fun. They even helped me get a taxi to go back to the ferry terminal.

    Great place to watch sunset.
We started at the Landmark Condos across the street so it was very convenient. Food was decent and delivered quickly. The wait staff was always excellent. Great place to watch the sunset while enjoying a drink. Happy hour is from 5-7pm daily where they offer 2 for 1 drinks. Live band performs Fri-Sun. Not much of a beach but you can snorkel & there’s some sea-life to see not far from the shore. Downside, it can be pricey & they charge $100 pesos to use the pier.

    Great small beach club
Beautiful small beach where you can snorkel right off restaurant/ beach. Wait staff so nice. We ordered 2 Coca Cola and they never bothered us for more. We used beach area for 4 hours and really enjoyed. We will be back. No crowds and much nicer than large beach clubs. No fee to enter. We will be back

    Gorgeous view and great food!
The water views are amazing with direct access to the water for snorkeling (shallow enough to just hang out in the water too). We had the guac & shrimp ceviche and both were great! There is no fee to hang out here, it’s just expected that you buy food (no minimum). If we come back to Cozumel we will return!

The Money Bar Beach Club is a great little beachfront bar, restaurant and walk out snorkeling beach. You can snorkel is shallow and deep water but of course the best marine life viewing is in the deeper water closer to the reef. You can sit at a table with your feet in the sand eating your meal and watching people enjoy the water. The water is crystal clear and beautiful. The food is good and the drinks are refreshing. Service is good as well!

We missed the sunset last time we were here and we were determined not to let that happen again! The sunset, food and drinks did not disappoint. We snorkeled, had a plate of guacamole, snorkeled some more, relaxed on the beach chair, enjoyed happy hour, decided to stay for dinner, used the changing rooms and watched the sunset.

We brought our own snorkel gear. (I’m not sure they’re renting any out during COVID.) Be sure to do the same, the water is so clear with lots of sea life to be seen!

The staff is very cautious during COVID and also very attentive- always asking what you need. This was our second trip and hopefully not the last! It would also be a great and inexpensive way to spend some time if you're stopping in Cozumel from a cruise (when they resume).

My family and I had a shorter AM excursion and wanted to have time to snorkel, eat local and be lazy in the sunshine!! Our tour guide suggested Money Bar. It was one of the only places that did not have a cover fee. There was plenty of room, covered lounge chairs, amazing food!!! and fabulous cocktails. The staff was bilingual, friendly, and really made us feel welcomed. The location was incredible. There was a stand to rent snorkeling gear and very reasonably priced. We rented two sets of full gear for $50 cash for the whole day. The snorkeling was better than we had experienced in previous paid excursions. There were multiple catamarans that had chosen this location for their groups. We were there in the afternoon, but they have live music and two for one drinks after 5pm. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this location for anyone!

The view is the best. Snorkelling right off shore is great! The drinks are cold and the nochos are a great snack. The service is great! On Thursday evenings the usually have a band and locals cone to dance salsa.

The Money Bar is a beach club located in the south hotel zone across the street from The Landmark Resort. Four of us went on a Friday evening for dinner. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating in a covered, open air setting. They were pretty busy.

The atmosphere is pretty lively - a 3 member band was playing pop music while we were there. There is an area for dancing also.

Between us, we had Coconut Shrimp w/Thai sauce and slaw, Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Tacos, and Roast Beef. All of the meals were very good. Would eat here again when visiting Cozumel.

While the snorkeling was gorgeous (minus the two small jellyfish stings I got), the restaurant was not worth our time. We had to wait over a half hour for one brownie with ice cream. Then sat around for another half hour before hunting down a worker to give us the check so we could pay and go swim. We heard the snorkeling is free when you order something, but equipment rental is very much not free. Luckily we had our own stuff with us. We would 100% skip this stop and snorkel or eat elsewhere next time we visit the island.

Located right on the ocean, this relaxed restaurant serves huge portions of tasty food. We had ceviche, tacos and the fish sandwich and all were tasty. But the best part of the location is the handy snorkel rental and snorkeling right off their veranda. William, one of the local guides in the snorkel shack, took me for an amazing tour of all of the underwater sites. He pointed out fish I would have missed, diving down to point closer, and telling me what I was seeing. He was the highlight of my trip to Cozumel, and I recommend asking for him if you decide to snorkel at the Money Bar.

On our previous visits to Cozumel we’ve hired a jeep and toured the island but the hassle of sourcing the car, bartering the price, leaving credit card details, paying for add on insurance and all the usual time consuming effort involved in hiring something that would have been scrapped years ago in the UK we chose an alternative option this year and I’d highly recommend doing the same if your there for the day and simply want to snorkel, chill out and eat.
We took the ferry across from Playa car and paid for our tickets at the operators kiosk on the jetty. It saves getting stung by touts elsewhere but beware the official ferry staff will always book tourists into 1st class at a premium price. Despite that it allows you sit outside which is well worth the small additional charge.
On arrival at Cozumel we picked up a taxi from the end of the jetty and paid 150MXN for a 15 min ride to Money Bar just up the coast from the cruise terminals and on the edge of a reef.
There’s no charge for entry provided your eating and they’re not pressing you at all. The bar is a real gem it’s right on the waterfront with good access into the sea and a great place to snorkel. Just beware that the current is reasonably strong and it will drift you down the coast if your not careful. It is suitable for young children but clearly need supervision.
There’s not the range of fish that you’ll see if you take a dive boat but many of the boats pull up at this reef so your seeing much the same as they are.
The food is terrific, reasonably priced and wide variety and the staff are super friendly. They’ll get you a taxi when your ready to leave but it’s a good idea to have dollars handy to pay the driver. Our driver insisted he’d no change and I’d only got large bills which caused a problem.
Highly recommend Money Bar. There are other similar spots on the island but this is the best we’ve found on our trips there. Check out their website for more info !

Great spot! Incredibly clear and fantastic snorkeling. Rented snorkel, mask and fins for $20. Nice equipment. Great food, top shelf drinks all for a fair price - even served me my wine in a glass. Lounge chairs and tables, fresh water shower. If you don’t do an all inclusive beach day thing, go here!!
