Well this is more than i have expected! The Tour was nice and long! If you want to do all, watching the Movie, making your own Choclate und tasting you should have atleast 2h time! Making your own choclate and learning everything about choclate during it is just amazing. For this price you can't get more. We walked up there... More

While this was an interesting and very informative experience resulting in a round chocolate "bar", it did not seem to be worthy of the price that was charged for the tour. It did seem to be designed to part you from additional sums of your money. There were pictures with a donkey and snake available for purchase as well as... More

My husband and our travel buds picked this tour as our day excursion in Cozumel. While it sounded interesting, I had know idea how truly enjoyable an experience it would be. It is amazing how the history of chocolate has been preserved since the early Mayan and Incan days. Our teaching team greeted us with chocolate martinis and an easy... More

I am so glad we did this! My mother and I booked this tour for the day we arrived in Cozumel from our cruise ship. It was a bit of a taxi ride from the port, but I felt safe the entire time getting there. Upon arrival we were greeted by the beautiful interior of the factory and the friendly... More

My husband and I booked this amazing experience on line. It was a fantastic 2 hours spent learning about how the chocolate goes from bean to chocolate bar. With the help of the master chef we roasted, peeled and ground our own cacao beans and made a traditional Mayan hot chocolate drink. We learned so much about the making of... More

My partner and I left KaoKao with delicious chocolate that WE _MADE_! Can you get that at the Hershey's Choco Park?? No! Other factories may be huge -- KaoKao is tiny and off the beaten path -- but we left with: seeing a chocolate tree and pods, touching the beans and nibs, grinding chocolate nibs to paste, mixing chocolate with... We visited here in September 2015 - and was given a video and presentation about the cocoa plant by Rosa (who was so friendly and pleasant) we then went into a room next door and Rosa taught us how to grind the cocoa and turn it into a chocolate tablet which you use for hot chocolate - ( was delicious... We went to the tour with kids. Our expectation was to be able to see how the chocolate was done in the factory. We had done a similar tour were you went from raw material to finished product. In the actual factory. The tour at $20 cost per person consisted in seeing a video of the history of chocolate for... More
