We enjoyed a great tour by Miguel, who showed us everything in a very friendly manner. We also were welcomed by the actual owner, who speaks perfectly french, and who was also very friendly. We strongly recommend this tour to anyone interested in chocolate.

This was one of the stops on a private tour of Cozumel. Learned a lot about chocolate and sampled a lot too. My husband and I had fun making our own chocolate bars for hot chocolate.

We didn't do the tour but did visit their store. The lady behind the counter gave us samples of literally all the chocolate that she could. I don't know how many different chocolate pieces we tried but it had have been close to 20. We were sold, their chocolate was very good. It also made nice gifts to bring back... More

Fun for all ages! This tour was really enjoyable, a great activity to get out of the heat for a couple of hours and learn about the history of chocolate through hands on activities and tasting! We booked the one hour tour a few days in advance, paying US$21.20 each directly on their website. After a presentation about the history... More

Took the tour with my family. We all had a great time and learned some things. It's a smelling, tasting experience. You even get to make some to take home. Who knew there was so much to our favorite chocolates!

The first thing you will notice is wash your hands, with rich chocolate smelling soap. So good u might want to lick you fingers, ha ha, Your guide will offer several... More

I heard of this tour through the hotel and on here. We took a taxi (about $4 USD) from our hotel to the factory. The tour is about two hours, $20 entrance fee and starts in the history room, filled with lots of artifacts and historical information. From there we gathered (4 of us) to grind our own cacao beans... More

Yesterday me, visiting from Hawaii, and my friend who lives here on the island took this tour! I feel the twenty dollar admission fee was well worth it! It began in an air conditioned room where our host gave us a very detailed live, not a video, presentation of the history of chocolate, which includes how it is made today.... More

Learn about chocolate - -not as easy as they make it look. You get to see how they make it and get samples of many different varieties. Really good stuff. I'll come back!

We ground cocao until it was a paste and made chocolate with it. Granted our chocolate was really really bitter, I still recommend this experience. The young and the old alike can participate. I bought some of the chili chocolate - it is neat. It's not hot as you chew but you can feel the sensation of heat as it... More
