My wife and I booked a tour here for an atv excursion. We had some issues with our hotel (the electric panel caught on fire) and in the craziness of switching rooms etc I neglected to check our ticket for the correct day. When I did look at it I realized I missed our tour entirely. I reached out via live chat and email to see if there was anything that could be done for us. I honestly didn’t expect much as the ticket says about 8 times on it there’s no refunds for cancellations less than 36 hours etc. I fully expected to have to book and pay for the tour again because of my error. This was not the case they ended up switching us to the next day which was amazing. I spoke to multiple different reps and they were all very nice, professional, and over all wonderful. I’m not sure if we got lucky as far as rescheduling because of things being slower due to covid but it was very appreciated. The tour ended up being only my wife and I. The guides Alex and Ramon were wonderful. Alex was the mechanic and had limited English but still made it a point to communicate with us the best he could. Ramon was the main guide and he had a large amount of information for us and asked multiple times if there was anything we needed. Since we had extra time they even took us to a cave that was not on our scheduled tour. Over all it was a great experience for us and I would recommend doing it if it’s a tour you’re interested in. If not based on our experience with the tour company as a whole if the service we got is any where near the service they normally give I would highly suggest booking through them.

My wife and I had the pleasure of booking the Snorkel and catamaran package with Tortuga tours that was booked through Cozumel tours. This was a 4 hour package that included the catamaran tour, snorkeling, snack and drinks. This is a mid sized boat, but sat the 12 or so guests comfortably. It arrived on time however some of the guests did not so we were a few minutes late getting on the water. Immediately after taking off, we were provided with an overview of what we would be doing along with a safety talk, and introductions to the crew.
We had 3 stops on our tour. At each of the snorkeling stops (equip provided) we were given clear instructions on what we would see as well as the snorkeling safety rules. Very professional. The snorkeling was fantastic with lots of fish as well as seeing some great ocean bottom structures.
After the snorkeling was complete, it turned into a bit more of a relaxed party atmosphere, and the music turned up. we were provided with drinks and snacks; lots of great cervice and chips and drinks of our choice, as many as we wanted.
We were lucky enough to see a small group of dolphins that we followed as the were playing alongside our boat.
There is a photographer within the crew that takes fantastic photos during the snorkeling. We couldn't resist buying some.
Back to the dock on time, after a fantastic afternoon on the water.
This was an event that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Snorkel excursion. Everything was excellent, but to me our snorkeling leader and the photographer stood out.

We booked the ATV to Jade Caverns, Luxury Snorkel and Island Horseback Rides. The ATV trip was excellent. My daughter loved the Island Horseback Ride because the guide provided a lot of information about the Mayan culture. The Luxury Snorkel was awful. There was nothing "luxurious" about the trip. Cheap Mexican beer was being served, my son never got the drinks he ordered, the snorkeling was just a mass of people swimming in one group. Lunch was a buffet served at the Westin Cozumel. The food was not very good and it was all cold. I would give that excursion a negative number. Would not recommend that excursion to anybody. Silvia was great when she booked my reservations. So the customer service was excellent.

Yes, we were on a catamaran. No, it was not sailing. We motored out to the snorkeling spot. Yes, we got back into the boat after our first spot. No, we did not go to a new reef. The captain drifted about 2 minutes and the crew said we were at our second reef.
The guide in the water yelled the entire time to keep the group together, so much so that everyone was finning everyone else. Although I could see him underwater I felt compelled to lift my head just in case it was an emergency. The reason for my poor review does not even account for the fact that they took us to a dead reef snorkeling area.
The buffet at Playa Mia was disgusting. Everything on the food bar was the same color. The best food was Chips and sour cream and the fried zucchini.
The inflated climbing toys in the water were in disrepair. Many of the handholds were long gone making climbing a little difficult for an adult and impossible for a child un 5'4".
The return catamaran ride back to Cozumel is scheduled so late we were not able to participate. I suspect that was the situation for most of the Playa Mia visitors because when we got ready to take our cab back the beach club as deserted.
I think Cozumel Tours by Johann and Sandra may be a good operation but their selection of vendors is lacking.

Booked roundtrip transportation from airport/hotel for 5 people (one ended up not going so only 4 went) for $155. I booked through this site b/c they have a lot on their website about them practicing social distancing, cleanliness, etc during the Covid pandemic. At the airport they wanted to put us in a van that would be completely full. When I expressed my concern, they told me I didn't book a private shuttle. I complained and threatened to use another service, but ended up taking the second van that had only one empty seat. For our ride back to the airport (going home) no one showed up. I called 15 minutes after the time they were supposed to arrive & they informed me my reservation was canceled by me (they brought us to the hotel) and I was rude and cursed at the airport shuttle staff. This was untrue & I have witnesses to verify. They informed me that they have audio tapes of the conversation. They agreed to send them to me, it's been almost 2 weeks & I have not received an audio of the conversations. ANYWAY, the hotel got a large taxi van for the 4 of us to take to the airport. When we arrived I asked the driver how much and his reply was $5 per person. OMG!! This large taxi van was much nicer than the van that brought us to the hotel and was $5 a person compared to Cozumel tours which was $15.50 per person one way. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE! For me, it was a rip off,,, basically I lost $77.50 to them.

Deeply disappointed. I wanted to climb the ruins & was not able to. We got to Coba about 2 pm, had lunch. By the time we were done we headed to the entrance & they told us the park closes soon. Our tour guide should have told us that and should have arranged to do the private tour of the other ruins AFTER I climbed the ruins. This was now about 4:30. We rented the cart driver. I was excited as we got close, but I knew time was running out. We hopped off & ran to the foot of the ruins. My son was about to make the 1st step & a staff member said it was now closed. I basically took 2 pictures and headed back. I no longer wanted to be here. I was so mad. I feel like I wasted my money. Staff were also annoyed at anyone who entered so I would never come back to this place ever again.

This tour took us to “Tequila Reyes” for a tequila tasting. We were skeptical about the tequila but it tasted very good! They sold us their “Family Reserve” Extra Anejo for $280 a bottle. I thought this was a bit much but decided to purchase one (my father bought 3 and was given the 4th). In the moment, I had noticed the color of the tequila was too dark, I had a feeling that something was added to the tequila but the flavor was very smooth and just a little sweet. I thought that maybe it was just really good tequila. It’s not.
The NOM on the bottle is fake. The Tequila is cut with sugar and almond. It’s probably not aged at all. The QR code is also fake. This entire tequila family “The Reyes” is a complete scam, El Jefe isn’t real, they don’t own the distillery that they tell you they do.
Anyways… do not buy tequila from them it’s a total scam to screw over gringos.

Our experience with Cozumel Tours was AMAZING!!! We booked the Private Jeep Tour for the Saturday after Thanksgiving when we were in Cozumel as a port stop with the Carnival Valor. Miguel was our tour guide, and he was wonderful! He gave us a couple of options on what to do, and we were able to choose the one that fit what we wanted to do. One of our favorite stops on the tour was at a roadside beach bar on the southern end of the island, where we had the best margarita and mojito ever! We enjoyed getting to just sit and enjoy the beach for a little while with our drinks, and the water was so wonderfully warm! Once we got back to our starting spot, we met Miguel's (very pregnant with twins!) wife and purchased an Arkansas backpack from her. We would DEFINITELY book with Cozumel tours again!!! HIGHLY recommended!!!

We booked online for two couples with Cozumel Tours for airport transportation from CZM to Melia Cozumel and unfortunately arrived during a week of poor weather which is common in November. We knew this could happen and maintained a positive outlook. This review is based on how Cozumel Tours has partnered with reputable firms like Fantasy Travel Experts to provide superior service that benefited our group during this week.
We tried to land multiple times during a storm and eventually were diverted to Cancun to refuel and attempt a landing in Cozumel during a break in the weather. Since our friends came from California and we came from Canada we were unable to meet at the airport as planned and required separate transport that we couldn't communicate well to the transport company. But all arrangements were made for us and our friends made it to the Melia and waited for us to arrive about 1.5 hours later. And so did the transport representative! We finally arrived, followed the original instructions and were met by a great lady who immediately ushered us to our taxi (as our original 4 PAX van was no longer required and the first couple had the same arrangement). We obtained information for our return taxi the following week along with a person to contact at the hotel to pick up the taxi voucher we had paid for originally.
We met up at Melia with Israel from Fantasy Travel Experts who provided the return trip voucher and information. He also explained other services available (which did not have anything to do with timeshares for those worried about that). This was an absolutely no pressure provision of information and became invaluable to us as the rainy weather could have derailed some days. We all have nothing negative to say about either Cozumel Tours or Fantasy Travel Experts. Be practical and reasonable in your expectations, respect the needs of the industry and you will certainly have great experiences and a good vacation in Cozumel. We will have no reservations with recommending both firms highly. I'm sure there are many others, but these are tried and proven. Check other reviews.

Airport to hotel transfer was fine, finding them was not as easy as advertised. No one there holding our name and they are hidden behind 30 other people trying to claim they are the service.
No one showed up at hotel to take us back to the airport (as booked and paid for in advance). No call or text to let us know they were going to be late. I called the number on reservation after waiting for 10 minutes after our scheduled pickup. Aaron seemed surprised that there was a return trip to the airport. I was on hold for 5 minutes while he "attempted to reach the driver", who by the way is someone from the local taxi company...as it says in the fine print. Interesting how Aaron knew which driver to call from the hundreds of taxi drivers on the island. We watched a taxi that had been sitting in the parking lot of the hotel for 20+ minutes suddenly get a text for a pickup. Is that the ploy? Customer gets upset and ends up taking a taxi that they have to pay for again because they don't have time to wait for the "service" and the money I already paid is kept because Cozumel Tours considers it a no show? And if they do call, like I did, they scramble to get a taxi? That is sure our perception of the experience. I would not recommend Cozumel Tours for airport transfers! Take a taxi, it is cheaper. Plus Cozumel Tours charged us $16 per person one way. They hire taxi's to take you back to the airport. It would have only cost me $5! So they pocket $11 and you cover the tip.

What are the 3 BEST tours that you offer that are actually on the island and you don't have to go to Cancun or anything. It can be adventurous or just chilling with dolphins. I want the best ones.

Thank you.

Hola, Alexis!
We would loooove to have the opportunity to share some beautiful moments with you and your son while we take you to an amazing Snorkeling trip to the colorful reefs in Cozumel :D!
As for the meeting location, it will totally depend on the snorkeling tour you're looking to book, for some of them we meet you just across the street from the cruise port, in some other cases we need to kindly ask you to meet us at a different location, but you don't need to worry about that, we will provide all the meeting instructions on the voucher once you book :)
All of the taxis are federal in Cozumel, so they are very secure!!
In order to give you a more personalized answer, please contact us directly, you can easily find Cozumel Tours' information at the top of this page. We're here to help!!

Thanks!!

My cruise in January allows for only one morning visit in Cozumel. I have narrowed down my choice of tours to two, but would welcome comments and recommendations to help me pick THE one! One is called Best of Cozumel and offers San Gervaso followed by scenic drive round the island with a photo stop at El Mirador, a stop at El Cedral and tequila and chocolate manufacturing stops. All sounds great to me, but then so does the Chankanaab National Park and Snorkelling adventure. I've read some comments from people disappointed with brief snorkelling time, but this tour specifies 45 mins snorkelling within 2 1/2 hrs free time in the park.

How credible in the company called Cozumel Tours? They have a significant discount for a dolphin experience and I'd like to make sure I am getting the same experience as the one posted by the cruise line.
