Amazing!!!! I am a animal lover and so pleased with the care the people of the ranch not only give there guest but the animals. For first time riders, no worries. You will be able to ride along on the trail on your own horse with no problem. They have horses for every experience level which is amazing. Our guide... More

We personally own a horse riding academy in the United states and rated this excursion based on our own personal experience as instructors whom offer trail rides similar to this one. I am very pleased with the way this excursion turned out. There were some people who knew how to ride and some who were very inexperienced. We, as instructors... More

Pato our excursion guide made the excursion a great one. Great guy to talk whether it's about the excursion or just talking in general. You can tell he really loves his job and it shows.

I found this ranch through a cruise excursion and it was one of the best excursions ever. The wrangler made us laugh so hard our jaws ached! The horses were gentle and the jungle was wild and beautiful. We heard a lot of Mayan culture, and spied many underground caves. You do not need to know how to ride to... More

This was a FANTASTIC experience. Out tour guide was great and kept everyone safe. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very patient with inexperienced riders. I recommend this tour to everyone. Absolutely AMAZING.

We visited Cozumel for the 5th time in February of 2016. We decided to take our kids ages 8 and 10 along for the first time so they could experience one of our favorite destinations! We chose Rancho Buenavista because we had done some of the other "touristy" ranches before and wanted a more authentic experience this time, and we... More

Another free excursion via our stay at The Explorean. Our hotel guide Rocky and his co workers accompanied hotel guests to the each via air conditioned (and wifi) tour bus. Staff matched people with appropriate horses for a trail ride through the jungle. The trails were basically rough roads, easily accessed by jeep or truck. A few places had narrow... More

We went horseback riding today at BuenaVista ranch and not only had fun but learned a lot about the Mayan ruins and people. Most of the people were beginners and Einer/Chico and the rest of the staff made everyone comfortable with easy to follow instructions and horses matched to each person's skill level. I highly recommend spending your time visiting... More
