Been coming to Cozumel for years and finally stopped in here. Very pretty park with nice beaches. The light tower has tight spaces and a little of walk to the top, but not bad and definitely worth the view. The small museum is neat and you can learn a lot of cool Mayan history here with a quick, non-lecture type... More

This was a stop on a 9-5 caravan tour. The 132 steps up a narrow, enclosed stairwell, ducking through a narrow waist-high "door" is definitely worth the effort. You get an excellent view of the southern tip of Isla Cozumel. The Navigation Museum was interesting and deserved more time than we had (I'd say 30-45 minutes would be about right).

Views from the light house are unforgettable, but most interesting was the light house museum, where you can learn a lot about history of this place, but also about local nature. Recommended!

This was an OK stop for pictures. I guess we have seen one too many lighthouses all around the world. Nothing really that I would make a special trip for but then was a stop part of our tour.

Went up in the lighthouse and caught by a thunderstorm. Wonderful view from the windows and top. Took tons of pictures.

Visited the Punta Sur ecological park and Punta Celerain Lighthouse. On our visit, the weather did not cooperate for a long stay on the beach, but we found it to be very beautiful and much more relaxed than the west Cozumel strip where all cruise visitors gather to party. This is a serene beach location, white sand, turquoise waters and... More

We took a jeep tour to this remote area, fascinating off road ride, saw lots of wildlife. Rough climb to the top of this lighthouse, HOT and narrow but fantastic views!! Well worth the climb.

I was surprised to find this area of the island gated where sightseers must pay a fee in order to pass through. The cost was $14 per adult and $8 per child. It's not very sensible for those that only want to see the lighthouse structure.

During our tour of the island, we went to the lighthouse. The view was amazing. There are hammocks to relax, once you have climbed to the top of the lighthouse.
