We did the Historical Walking Tour of downtown Cozumel. It came with lunch in a very pleasant restaurant that was not a touristy sort of place. Our guide was Ricardo Guemez. He was knowledgeable, friendly and funny (in a good way). We walked along the road that is the beachfront face of the older part of town. Rick stopped and told us about every statue, why that person or event was memorialized as well as interesting details about both. The pace was more of a stroll than a walk which was just fine with me!
To get to the restaurant where we were scheduled to have lunch, we walked through the central Plaza and then several blocks away from the beach front, getting a good look at the buildings and people who live and work beyond the areas normally seen by tourists.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a sense of what life is like for the people who live on the island.

My family of 15 choose Jeep Riders Cozumel as an excursion during our Carnival cruise in January, and we all had an amazing time! Our guide Sergio met us exactly where he said he would, we took a short walk to the cars, he explained the tour plan and options and then let us pick what worked best for us. From my 3 year old nephew to my 82 year old grandmother, everyone enjoyed the day and wished it could have lasted longer. This tour allowed ya to get the most out of our short time in Cozumel and Sergio was an excellent resource. I highly recommend Jeep Riders Cozumel!!

We did a custom tour of the Island for the block price where you can add extra time if you want,
Sergio was Awesome, We discussed what we wanted to do and were we wanted to go. WE went to the other side of the island and stopped a few spots for great pictures. We stopped at small Bar and had great drinks and Salsa. We explored town some and drove to some really quiet places giving us a unique perspective of live on the island. The tourist industry, especially the cruise lines there is the livelihood and Covid hit them Hard. We felt safe at all times and felt like we were part of a family with our tour Guide. He even stopped and let us do a little shopping for our Hotel room.

My wife and I booked a 3 hr private jeep tour. Before the trip, there were a few issues with our ship time and port. Jeep Riders adjusted on the fly and made everything seamless. Our guide Sergio was awesome. After meeting us at the pre determined sight...on time, asjed if there were specific sights we wanted to see. We told him the 1 place we wanted to see and told him to choose the rest, Being a native of Cozumel, he shared details about the areas we visited that I may not ever hear. He was very personable and made the experience feel like we knew him for years. We will be returning to Cozumel in Feb 2024 with a group and will be booking another tour with Jeep Riders and Sergio

We had the private Cozumel Buggy tour with short tequila tour at the 1st stop, then drive & visit to the Punta Sur ecological park with several stops at various locations on the beach along the way then lunch at a beach club where you could snorkel if you wanted. Sergio was our guide & he was fantastic! He was one time, honest, informative and fun. He took us to multiple sites where he encouraged us to stay & explore each site as long as we wanted. At one stop he even heard me talking about a particular product I was considering purchasing there and told me he knew I could get it cheaper at other places! He was not trying to interfere with my decision, but he helped me make an informed decision & I appreciate that kind of information. I know we ran over our allocated time, but he never said a word, he never rushed us, he just wanted to make sure we had done everything we had expected to do and that we were happy. We thank Sergio for making our last full afternoon on Cozumel a great time and leaving us with memories we will never forget.

An absolutely wonderful tour of Cozumel! Tanya was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. She even made an extra stop on our request.
We visited a Tequila tasting (the only stop we did not like - unprofessional and over priced Tequila), a beautiful beach on the ‘wild side’ of Cozumel, a Cenote, an extra stop at Welcome to Miami (ask your tour guide to stop there!) and a fun beach club complete with lunch. It was a wonderful day and would do it again!

We booked this tour last min when our snorkeling tour got cancelled the day before due to weather. This tour was the highlight of our trip! So happy we found it and Ricardo made the day memorable. Not only was he kind and fun, he was knowledgeable and patient. We got to spend time at each stop for as long as we liked and we were able to pull off the road and make stops along the way. This day trip allowed us to see the island, away from the masses of tourists; started with climbing in our pink Barbie mobile, a tequila tour/tasting, beautiful scenery, Punta Sur Eco Park lighthouse and crocodiles!, lunch, and some snorkeling. Lunch was delicious and Ricardo had a cooler of drinks in his car for us to have as well.
Ricardo is the BEST; one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. We enjoyed learning about him and his life on the island as well as all of his knowledge about the areas we stopped at.
Book the tour, you’ll have a blast!
*One thing to note: the “dune buggy cars” do not have doors, you have to climb in and out so if you have any difficulty climbing in and out of a low car, book a Jeep instead.

The cooking class with Tania and Sergio was amazing!! The food kept coming, the drinks were muy execellente, and they were fantastic hosts who shared a wealth of knowledge and history of the beautiful city and country!!!

This is the 3rd time we've used this company and every single time they have delivered above and beyond. This trip was all about what my son (28) wanted to do. We were met promptly & we were off. We've been to Cozumel many times so the only "touristy" thing we did was a tequila tasting. My son enjoyed & it gave us time to go to the grocery store across the street. We stopped at several beach spots for pictures. The nature park and a swimming hole was a last minute add on. We booked an additional 2 hours that was definitely needed. Professional and friendly is sometimes hard to do but repeatedly this company delivers. We were dropped off at the port. I left my phone in the back seat and by the time I figured out, he was gone. My husband called & he met me across the street with my phone. I will definitely recommend to everyone. There's plenty of drinks in back for everyone. My husband and son loved being able to do the driving and half way through the trip, we dropped the top.

Ricardo was a fantastic guide! He was so willing to answer all of our questions and share his culture with us. The main places we wanted to visit were closed for cleaning so he took us to some private areas that mainly only locals go to. I definitely would recommend him again if you go through this touring company!

What is the minimum age for your Jeep tours? I'm asking because my son will be 3 at the time of our cruise. Are car seats provided or would we need to bring one along for the ride?

we do provide the children car seats and as for the age restriction we dont have one but of course its your responsibility to take care of your children during the tour, we guides will still do our best to take care of you and your family

Hi, i am a guide of jeep riders and my costumers almost all wear sandals so you should have no problem wearing them as long as you are careful and watch your step.
