This was our 4th or so trip here and there are so many water activities to do. We used to love it here and the staff was so friendly. However, we went there with a large group and all of us encountered very rude staff. My brother rented an umbrella and they would come over and try to take it... More

We have been visiting this beach club on every family cruise for close to 10 years. While they have added many amenities, the service has gone way downhill. Staff was rude and not helpful. The food had always been mediocre. It is crazy crowded. We don't feel like we got our money's worth, and left early to go drink margaritas... More

We visited Playa Mia this week on a cruise excursion. We have three children 5,5,and 9 years old . This was great for them . They have a wonderful kids area for smaller children . They also had a couple of great pools available too. On the flip side , the ocean obstacle course was perfect for my older son... More

For $60/person you get an all inclusive day pass for an amazing adventure. There is a great little watermark for smaller kids, two big slides (they were okay) for older kids, and a beautiful- little rocky- beach. The best part was the inflatables. They were out in the deeper part of the ocean and there were a lot of them!... More

My husband and I recently took a Mexican cooking class with Chef Luis and his assistants (wish I could remember their names). Was probably the best excursion we've ever taken on a cruise. It was fantastic. We had so much fun! The chefs were hilarious and so talented. The food we prepared was excellent (they didn't let us mess up).... More

This is a great shore excursion for families. The ocean water park is like playing the Mexican version of Wipe Out!! It was great fun. The beach was beautiful and even had some beach games for all the visitors. Would have loved to spend more time on this excursion, but had to get back to the ship. The water slides... More

Came here with a group of ten people from a cruise ship. It is a nice ride over from the port, about a half hour or so. When you first get there you think....this is it? We walked around and there is a little something for everyone. A ton of seating, some pools, opportunities to parasail, jet ski, some shops,... More

We spent the day at Playa Mia on February 16th. The place is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous palm trees, lounge chairs, a pool, a giant covered eating area and bar, with immaculate restrooms that were constantly being swept and wiped down. The bathrooms were so well maintained that you wouldn't know people using them were anywhere near a beach. We did... More

We intended to go to Mr Sanchez park but it was full. We settled on Playa Mia. Over priced and not worth the money. Food was buffet and was terrible, unappealing and down right awful. Bad drinks and not worth the price. Service was just okay. Towels were extra charge for a small towel
