I would 1000% recommend that you book this tour while in Cozumel! Every activity was interesting and something I had never done in my life before. My favorite part was the cacao/chocolate tasting mixed with honey! The taste of the cacao was so natural and fresh. Chaak Nitke was a great guide the entire hour. She was very patient with us, as my friend and I wanted to hang back at the chocolate station a while longer. (Yes, we love chocolate that much!!) Thank you kindly for your incredible service, I had the best time participating in this activity/ excursion during my vacation in Cozumel

What a wonderful experience! This was incredible. We had an hour tour where we dove into the Mayan culture, watched a performance, made tamales and chocolate and learned about their culture and history. Our guide was Chaak Nikte. She was amazing! So kind, so helpful and informative. Highly recommend!!!!! So memorable for us. THANK YOU!!!!

Great for families! Our 7, 10 & 12 year old were entertained the entire time. Hand sanitizer at every stop & masks required, but were able to try foods - gum, tamales, chocolate and more. Learned a lot about the culture - played a game, watched a dance show, learned Mayan words. Very hands-on, interactive. Several family photo ops too! Guide spoke excellent English, great at involving the kids. We had a wonderful time!

We went through as a family of three and had our own personal tour. It took about an hour and it was a great learning experience that involved all the senses. It kept our 4 year old engaged, involved, and entertained the whole time. It is recommended for good, family fun on a budget.

Review of: Maiz Town Tour
We toured the Pueblo del Maiz (House of Corn) on a jeep tour of Cozumel. It was a very fun and interesting stop. We started with tequila tasting then onto the tour of the village. Costumes and knowledge was outstanding. The staff made you feel like you were part of their culture. The dancing, food tasting, and costumes were top notch. A very enjoyable time.
