We want to thank you for a wonderful week of diving. We had originally booked 6 2 tank morning dives with you, with plans to add a night dive if possible. After experiencing the first day's dives with Isidro ("Isi"), we realized we had made a great connection. Through the week we added an afternoon 2 tank dive, and two night dives in search of an octopus. On Thursday night Isi took us to San Clemente, which ought to be renamed the Octopus Garden. We saw more than 10, as well as many rays, a Spanish lobster ,a couple eels and a squid. For both of us, this was to date the highlight of our diving careers. Isi's knowledge of the reef system is incredible. Along those lines, Isi and Captain David made the trip for us. Isi's 32 years experience shows, and he checks the 3 P's: Personable, Professional and Punctual. WHEN we come back, Isi will be our first request to dive with him as much as possible. He is hands down the best DM we have had the pleasure of diving with. As a new DM myself, it was nice to be able to dive with someone of Isi's caliber and LEARN from him. His briefings were top notch, he controlled the other divers' attention so everyone knew the plan, and the execution of the dives was spot onto the minute of what he briefed. IF there was any question about bottom times, he reminded everyone to watch their non-deco times (it's the diver's responsibility anyway) and what to finish the dives with (700 psi). I have quite a few dives and still learned a lot from him. Thank you for a first class trip. We will be back.

We just returned from our second trip to Cozumel, and our second time diving with Salty Endeavors. We had an excellent time, and the overall experience was great from beginning to end. Very easy to work with the owner to make the reservations, particularly given we are returning customers. The boat was always on time to pick us up, and the equipment worked well and very organized ahead of time (minor point - rented dive computers weren't fully charged a couple of times and ran out of power). The divemasters and captains have been uniformly excellent! This year, we had Eduardo and David for all three dive. Very much enjoyed and appreciated their expertise. The dives were all very enjoyable. This was not our first time diving (this was the only choice I was given for the "activity" above). Eduardo made us feel very comfortable and safe. As far as we could tell, and according to our dive computers, all safety measures were observed including safety stops and surface intervals. Safety always seemed to be front and center in our experience. Also, the back office team is very responsive in terms of working out the bill. Normal questions arose and they were very responsive and flexible. Overall, EXCELLENT experience. Definitely going back next year and diving with this shop.

We dove for 5 days in March with Salty Endeavors. Everything about this trip was top-notch! The online booking was very simple, the whole team was responsive to email, and they were easy to work with when we needed to make changes in our arrangements. Every single divemaster was a high-level professional, and our boat captain was the absolute best. One of our teenage sons completed his certification through Salty Endeavors, and he received a much better education than the rest of our family members who were certified in the States. We lucked into finding the best dive company on our first dive trip to Cozumel. We will be booking with Salty Endeavors again!

Scuba Diving I dove with Salty Endeavors 5 times on a week long vacation back in March of 2022. (two tank dives) I am very concerned with their safty protocols: 1. Each day the first dive was max 60+ ft (most 80-90 ft max) with a duration of 50 - 60 min. However the surface interval between dives were not long enough, or at least were pushing the limits. For example: On day 1 the surface interval was 48 min before performing a second dive of 60+ ft for 50+ minutes. Needless to say we blew way past the no decompression limits on our second dive. I brought this to the dive master's attention on day 2. Although he did "ask" if we had been on the surface long enough between dive on day 2. It was obvious he wasn't paying attention to how long we were on the surface between dives. (To be fair this did improve (a little) as the week went on and other divers expressed their concerns to the dive master(s).) 2. Safety stops. We were told that safety stops are taken at 700 psi. I will concede that a number of divers did blow through their air quickly and started safety stops earlier. However, the first day, it was very apparent the dive master was more interested in staying down for an hour rather than starting the safety stop once people reached 700 psi. This was obvious as most divers had between 200-300 PSI at the end of the dive. (There is no way they blew through 500 psi on a 3 minute safety stop at 15 ft. The dive master obviously started the safty stop after most of use were well past 700 psi.) Finally, I really don't recall ever listening to a "boat safty" talk. Where the life jackets are, first aid / oxygen kit(s) are located. What to do in case of an emergency. I've been on well over 150 boat dives and this is the first organization that failed to inform us of this information. Last but not least. I did provide feed back on a different website's review. The owner's reply to my feed back was pure defense and belligerence. I don't know about you, but the world I live in appriciates feed back and uses the feed back to improve their opperations. So owner of Salty Endvors ... Rest assured, in the USA (where most of your clients come from.), we value accountablity and safty over arguments. Although my critique on the other website of your opperation was not flattering, it was you're unwillingness to accept feedback, learn from your mistakes, and your defensive posture that will give future customers pause, rather than my review(s). Perhaps you should consider this as your reply: Thank you for your feed back: I am disappointed that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. You are right, a surface interval of 48 minutes was sufficient between the two dives you did with us on your first day of diving. I immediately met will all of my dive masters and boat captains to discuss the importance of safty and used your experience as an example of what should never happen. Further more, we have implamented the following to insure this will never happen again: 1. somthing you and your staff agreed to. 2. somthing else you and your staff agree do to. 3... Where I come from, people appriciate organizations that are willing to learn from their mistakes and make adjustments to improve the customer's experience. Should you take my advice and reply similar to the above example, you are showing a willingness to use feedback that isn't glowing to improve your operations. Serious scuba divers will appriciate that. Being belligerent and agurmentive rarely wins the day when it comes to customer confidence.
