Ruth, Jimmy and their driver rock!

Great tour, these guides kept it fun and interesting plus Ruth knows French. I don't know if you can request them as your guides but if you can then I highly recommend them.

Firstly they said it would take two hours from Moon palace but it took 3 hours +, the majority of the tour was the travel to and from the hotel. The Tour guide Victor was very informative and entertaining but we didnt like how he swindles the group to pay 20USD for a Mayan Birth paper, the first stop was... More

We booked this tour instead of the one with the cenote ik -il because my husband wanted to see the old colonial city Valladollid. This city is reputed to be beautiful with collonial architechture etc. and good traditional food. We embarked on this tour organised by Xcaretexperiences. We were picked up by a big bus, which made its round picking... More

I can't say enough about the personal experience of visiting a site that I had previously only seen in history books...the building are even more impressive in person! Beyond the main pyramid and the area immediately around it, be sure to make the side trip to the far side of the site to see the observatory. The good tour guides... More

Because Chichén is a good 3 hours drive from Cancún it is worth combining a visit to this spectacular and must see site with the beautiful colonial town of Valladolid, only 35 minutes away on the way to Cancún.

Chichen Itza is amazing and full of interesting history for all ages. We took the family on this tour from Playa del Carmen. We loved the experience of being there, but would travel differently next time. We were informed before purchasing that it would be a two and a half hour bus ride to Chichen and that we would be... The Chichen Deluxe will cost $109 per person as part of a two tour package with the Xcaret group. As it says in the brochure, you get a multilingual guide, refreshments, lunch and transport door to door. Chichen Itza is a wonder of the world with a vast cultural history. Your knowledgeable guide will walk and talk you through the... More

Several structures at this site which our guide explained to us. We spent two hours there. Unfortunately you are no longer allowed to climb the pyramide which has more pyramide inside but you don't get to see them. In Mayan culture every 52 years another pyramid was built over the exsisting pyramid

I went to Chichen Itza, known as the Mayan pyramid late October 2016 with a private tour from the hotel. We have a private Chevy Suburban to transport around the places and a private tour guide at Chichen Itza. It's a little be pricy, but I really recommand the private tour because it's more flexible on time planning. The tour... More

My husband and I did the Xichen Valladolid tour and it was beautiful. We saw the ruins and were ready to go after that. We were picked up from our hotel at 7 AM and shuttled to a hub to get onto tour busses, where we waited for everyone to arrive for about an hour. Once everyone was on the... More

Management response:

Dear visitor, Thank you for sharing your comments. We're sorry the tour didn't meet you expectations. As you probably already know, Chichen-Itza is located nearly 3 hours away from Cancun, so it can make for a long drive, however we make our best to be as efficient as we can to satisfy our customers. Please, if you have any additional... More
