- Jordan N4 contributionsIt's Cheap and it's good! It's exactly what you want. Cheap food, with the pricing clearly spelled out. Great pictures on most menus to clearly identify what you're getting. If you want to eat how Mexicans eat then come here! You'll want to learn a few key phrases to make it easier. "What is the cost of.." or "what is inside the...". If you're expecting a high quality of food, then you should adjust your expectations. That is not the intention of 3 tacos for 60 pesos. Go find a sit down restaurant and pay 100 pesos for the better quality tacos.Visited December 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten December 13, 2022
- NedaStockholm, Sweden5 contributionsVery nice place in downtownVery nice place with many small shops and good prices. Also a lot of places where you can buy food and snacks. They also had very good massage. Nice place to spend with both family, children and friends.Visited January 2023Traveled with friendsWritten January 23, 2023
- Rose BNew Market, Maryland18 contributionsGreat food and shopping. Authentic, great prices and not so abrasive and pushy for sales.Excellent food - even for a vegetarian. Got a really good iced drink with papaya and one strawberry. $17 for 4 before drinks. Lots of fun. Saw a shop with amazing pottery too. We liked it better then Mercado 28. But both are good visits!Visited January 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten January 28, 2023
- maybe1tacoPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania37 contributionsLocal vibe, good street food! This was really cool with a laid back vibe. It really seemed like a lot of locals and tourists from within Mexico. We got an huge empanada, esquites, and of course marquesitas. We were there on a Friday and there was live music and dancing, tons of vendors, lots of families—we felt safe walking around at night and there were other businesses and restaurants nearby. It seemed like taxis were easy to find, but we got an Uber since it was easy. Definitely recommend for good food!Visited February 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten February 11, 2023
- Gan ManGananoque, Canada266 contributionsThis is a must if in Cancun !!Omg, this is a must do if your in Cancun. It’s a 10min taxi from the hotel zone. It seemed to be packed with locals and felt very authentic. You must try the tacos for any of the numerous vendors and also the Mexican deserts …. Awesome night. - Brianna V1 contributionBest ChurrosBEST churros were here, Churros y Papas (not Papas y Churros, although to be fair we didn't try theirs) Crunchy, hot, fluffy, not greasy- everything you want in a churro and we ate them almost every day of our trip. Plus the people working there are amazing and friendly. 10/10 recommendVisited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 4, 2023
- alimack7775 contributionsFabulous - foodie heaven! We stumbled upon the parque by accident while wandering around downtown Cancun. What a brilliant find! - bryanmantezoniHouston, Texas2,847 contributionsOne of my favorites for cheap dinner any day of the weekSafe, great and cheap food, dance with music from 9-10 pm and lots of variety of food. As of today 4 tacos between 50-60 mx pesos, 1 liter of natural fruit water between 30-35 mx pesos. Recommended for large families, people on a budget or someone who wants to experience real home made food.Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten October 18, 2023

You can get overwhelmed in here. The dusk hours is where the pushy sellers- sellers of all sorts - come in here. They can overwhelm you into buying non essential things. Do not buy! We recommend eating something from the stalls that sell some finger foods here ! !

We made a mistake going on a Sunday day ... most was closed .
Tried the local food ... Good but watch the hygiene when choosing .
The local toilet is bad .... but I would suggest going on a night the band was practising so the feeling was good

Probably my favorite place we ate while here for the week. Has about 20 diff food vendors (like if you were in an outside food court).
Authentic, local food at the best prices you’ll find anywhere. I ordered 4 tacos for 70 pesos. That’s $3.50. Then ordered a large side of rice and a coke from another vendor for 30 pesos which is $1.50. So $5.00 and ate sooo good!!
My Top recommendation for place you MUST Visit and eat while I’m Cancun!!

If you're close to it drop by in the evening. Lots of stalls around to try different foods and snacks. I felt perfectly safe if anyone is worried about that. Lots of people around and I was able to get an uber back to the hotek easily

We walked here from the R1 bus stop, it’s full of locals having food and using the playground. A few stalls to buy souvenirs at good prices. Had one of the best burritos ever and then also tried the churros. A must visit!

Hi! We are staying in the hotel zone. We want to visit market 23 and this park. We are thinking of taking a taxi to the market 23 and then maybe another to this park. Is that safe? Are there taxis available near by? Are taxis near El parque de Las palapas? What is the safest way to get back to the hotel zone?

Taxis always feel like the safest ride for me. They’re pretty easy to find anywhere or can be called by your hotel.
Hi, how do I get to Parque de Las Palapas by public transportation from Four Points By Sheraton Cancun Centro? Thank you!

I'd suggest walking to the ADO bus terminal from Palapas and getting a cab to the restaurant. From Palapas to the bus terminal, head north on Margaritas as its only a few minutes away.
