Punta Nizuc is located at the southern tip of Cancun’s hotel zone. This gallery is 4 to 2 meters deep with around 30 sculptures.

The tour begins with a boat ride through the Nichupte lagoon, the mangroves and finally the ocean, where you will be prepared for the tour in this gallery on a snorkeling platform.

We loved the snorkeling experience, the beautiful sculptures (the guide was great and took us to each one, since we would have no clue--- AND HE KEPT US on a PATH that was safely away from coral areas so we didn't get caught or touch...More

Terrible tour. Make you wait 2 hours after 20 minutes of snorkelling on a freezing floating platform before taking you back. Too shallow so easily swim over coral and tour guide doesn't help. Rude service and waste of money. Please don't waste your time

Not much to see. Murky water and nothing left. Value is poor because the snorkel is so poor. I would not recommend the trip.

This area was closed and inaccessible. There were a few locals fishing the river that connects the lagoon to the sea nearby, and a few local families swimming in the muddy brown water there. We decided not to join them. We were told the only...More

Went on a day trip to snorkel through the underwater museum. You swim through many different schools of fish, and through what seemed like a forest of corals and sea fans. Just beautiful experience. The sunken statues are beautiful, they seem so majestic under the...More

This reef is well worth a visit, it was an easy walk from our resort (Villa Nizuc, which is great), you have to cross the rocks just after Club Med, and on the other side there is access from the rocky beach, but if you...More

Season runs through June. Typically tours go out of Isla Mujeres. I would gather all info, because the boat ride can be choppy and you will likely have to take turns in the water once you find one, and that time can be... More
