We visited the mall for a little bit of retail therapy. We are from the UK and nothing was cheaper, in-fact probably more expensive.
I wanted gifts for family. I went in Victorias secret where I have never felt so uncomfortable. The female shop assistant...More

Not sure if they all accept US dollars as I paid with either Pesos or credit card. Most places should. I always find it best to use local currency when traveling. Just do a conservative estimate so you don’t have a lot of money left at the end of your trip. Note that airport shuttles will get you to the airport 2.5-3 hours in advance b/c of “traffic”. When most people fly out in the wee hours to head back home, “traffic” is not a problem at 3am 😄. Note that once you go through the security checkpoint, you have to pass through a duty free shop ..a nice place to burn a few free hours that you have to kill and the last of your pesos 😄....great way to boost tourism dollars to the last second of our trips to Mexico😄. I normally plan on this and buys gifts with the rest of my pesos. Otherwise, I save them for my next visit 😄
