About
This open-air mall is one of the most popular malls in Cancun, featuring a diverse range of stores and restaurants from high-end to more affordable options. But there's more than just shopping at this cool complex. There are many other attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy. Nice high end stores
Was there some months ago. Being from Argentina, saw some very nice high end stores we don’t normally get down here. Fair prices for the most part, really depended on which store i landed in but some had good deals. shopped at Bershka, Calvin Klein, Nike and some others. Aquarium was also a little nice highlight, perhaps a bit overpriced especially for the swimming with dolphins part but not bad for the walking around bit. Check it out if you’re somewhat near the place and you got that $1USD bus ride available.
Thanks for visiting us we hope you to come back soon!

    Shopping mall for everyone!!
The best shopping mall in Cancun and very close to the hotel where we stayed. Easy to access by bus, or by foot. Everyone could find something interesting. There are many different types of stores, from H&M, Zara, Massimo Duty, Armani Exchange, to Jaime Ibiza( authentic Mexican brand), and my favorite, Victoria Secret ,… Starbucks,Häagen-Dazs, for taking a break.
Thanks for visiting us! We are glad that you enjoyed Plaza La Isla. ¡We look forward to your return soon!

    Nice place to spend money!
Nice place to visit and shop. Has all the high end stores. We loved our Häagen Dazs ice-cream. No bragains here - prices are the same as in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago etc.
Thanks for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your visit and shopping experience. We hope to see you again soon! 🛍️

La Isla Shopping Village is a very high end shopping village that needs to have the overseeing property management scolded and or changed. My wife and I tried to do some shopping and dine @ La Isla Shopping Village last week but just could not stomach the odors. The smell was so gross that we walked from the entrance to the water’s edge, turned around and decided to leave “like immediately”. The smell was not coming from the Lagoon because as we walked by several stores and restaurants the smell would change. What a shame because this place is really esthetically beautiful. The shops and restaurants are very high end. The main purpose of this review is to notify both owners and clients in hopes to . Also, why not put fans strategically placed to relieve the customers of the extreme heat of July / August months. It’s super unbearable. Also, warning of crocodiles at night if you are walking on the west side walk of Blvd. Kukulkan Zona Hotelera. See attached photo, I experienced the scare of a life time as I walked along Boulevard Kukulkan at 10:30pm one night last week. While staying across the street from La Isla @ Live Aqua Cancun Resort, I suffered from Swimmers Ear and needed to visit a pharmacy. The hotel’s store was closed and I was forced to walk ½ mile south on Bulevard Kukulan to get medication, where I saw a sign the attached Crocodile Warning sign and not 30’ beyond that sign, I heard a huge rustle in the mangrove growth that separates the sidewalk from the lagoon and then heard the loud hiss of the crocodile; I darted across the street, called a cab and spent $20 bucks to finish my venture to the pharmacy and back to the hotel. Earlier in the week, we learned that Rosa Negra restaurant gives scraps to the crocodiles every day! This problem could be corrected with a simple fence. Note: Walk on the south side of the street @ night!!

Arrived too early, expecting earlier opening so was surprised. Shops are expensive compared to UK so didn’t spend long here, plus you are constantly harassed whilst walking round by people trying to entice you in or sell you something. If you just left me alone I’d spend more time browsing and be more likely to buy something but when I’m harassed, I just want to leave so I did.

We wanted to take a break from the beach and do some shopping so I found La Isla on Trip Advisor. There are a variety of shops from Bath and Body Works to souvenir shops. Despite other reviews, I found shop owners to be very kind. I even practiced my limited Spanish with a shop employee and she expressed her appreciation. As far as people trying to sell stuff and being “in your face”, I feel like that claim was false as well. There are many tour operators that will approach you, but they easily accepted our polite “No, thanks. We are not interested in any tours.” We bought souvenirs in a couple of the stores and I didn’t feel like the prices were too high. I would suggest checking the mall out for yourself.

The stores are mostly small and everything is overpriced, even compared to USA prices. We went at 11 in the morning in a Saturday and less than 50% of the stores were open. Everywhere you walk is someone trying to sell you something, it made me leave as quickly as I could.

If you can afford to skip this shopping area, definitely wait till you get home.

Quaint, outdoor shopping center perfectly situated across the street from the Westin Lagunamar. There's an odd blend of high-end retailers with ho hum shops that makes up this outdoor village on the lagoon. We had great luck with Zara's sale and learning about all the off-property adventures offered by the numerous salespeople roaming the plaza; that would have been useful information had we not have gone on the last day of our trip. I'd say if you need a last-minute outfit or article of clothing, it'll work. Otherwise, make better use of your time in the country.

Quite pleasant place to wonder. We don't need souvenirs nor can afford the high-end shops so we came away empty handed. No big deal, it was a nice afternoon to walk around. Much much better than the Marina plaza.

We went to this mall area 2 times during our trip to Cancun. Kids loved the aquarium and the dolphin show. Be aware there are many stands with people trying to sell tickets for experiences with really great prices but they include a timeshare presentation. We were not interested in sitting through one so we passed but for those that may not know wanted to share. They don’t say anything about it and you can be tricked into it.

There are a few different style shopping areas connected here by corridors, and a mix of high-end shops and more touristy things. along with restaurants. Many vendors are located here in kiosks selling excursions also. The tour operators wander about and approach you to strike up conversations and then launch into their sales pitch, but are polite enough if you just firmly say no. On our second trip, we discovered there is a beautiful boardwalk area with restaurants along the bay side which are really pretty at sunset. Parking was reasonable, 20 pesos for the first 2 hrs, so barely over one US dollar.

A few of us couples met here for lunch and we decided to shop first.

The good: friendly people in the stores themselves. Watch store, cigar shop, make - up places.

Indifferent: there's two sides to this outdoor mall experience. One side is average retailers you would see in any mall across America. The other, is your Galleria type stores, high end fashion retail.

The bad: I wouldn't recommend getting your souvenirs here. Maybe it's us, and we're used to good customer service. But, when checking out, due to them mis- labeling, they wouldn't honor the posted price. We're trailing a few dollars difference. The cashier decided to argue, so instead of us dropping over a hundred dollars, my wife said forget it and we walked away.

There's people in the streets handing you coupons for this and that, like Vegas.

All in all not horrible, but I wouldn't go back again.

Cheers

We loved to visit this shopping village by local bus every time we are in Cancun. Only cost about one dollar per person to take the bus one way to go anywhere in hotel zone areas in Cancun. Strongly recommended.
