    Great Selections But Deceiving Prices
We went to buy souvenirs, t-shirts and vanilla. They had a super selection to choose from. Pricing is a bit of trickery. The have 20% off marked prices on a lot of items, and I was told by the associate that I should take off 20% of the marked priced, but when you get to the checkout, they tell you the marked price is 20% off already. So be prepared to pay the marked price. T-shirts were basically $10 USD a piece, which is reasonable. Vanilla was a decent price too. Pottery was a little over priced but not too bad. So it was a decent shopping experience, but they should do away with the 20% off signs because they are an illusion. By the way, the store in this high end mall has no AC. One of the few times I rushed to pay for my stuff to cool off outside. And it was blistering hot outside, but with a breeze.

    pretty good place for tourists
Was clean and had just about anything you needed from touristy gifts to liquors/chocolate. A lot cheaper than the resort gift shop. No pushy sales people and felt safe to roam around the area afterwards. We bought a wide range of items, one item i liked was a Cancun T-shirt and the quality is pretty good. Used my Amex and I signed for $233 in the store and it showed up my account as $258, so be advised to use pesos.

    Giant Selection
This is a huge selection of tourist products with the prices well marked and a minimal amount of pushy salespeople. A handy place to find fun items to take home for yourself or as gifts. They also have a coffee shop. Located by the Convention Center.

High exchange rate when you pay with credit card
We went into Fiesta and they have a lot to offer there when it comes to shopping. The problem is when you check out. They screw you over with the exchange rate if you pay with credit card. The normal exchange rate is $18 pesos for a dollar. When you pay with credit card they won’t let you pay in US dollars they make pay in pesos the exchange rate is $22 pesos for a dollar. If you go there take US dollars or you will get SCREWED.

    Over-Priced Souvenirs
If you are looking for low price souvenirs, then steer clear of this place. Does this shop have a large selection of things, yes. However, after we shopped here we found pretty much everything we bought at La Isla cheaper then this place. Again, they have a very large selection, but you can find other places for items much cheaper.

    Average souvenir shopper’s paradise
Lots and all types of souvenirs sold. Prices are a little higher than at other places. Overall, it offers the convenience of lots of selection in one place. I found nothing exciting and new. Overall, I rate it as “Average.”

    Convenience and Simplicity
You know the drill: you're in Cancun; the other folks at the office are covering for you and your sister-in-law is feeding the cats while you're gone and making sure the house doesn't burn down. The decent thing to do is bring back some pottery and tequila to make up for their trouble and keep the peace; but you're extremely busy seeing the sights and getting quietly drunk by the pool. Maybe you'll pick up a couple of perfect things from vendors while you're at Chichen Itza; maybe you can get some tequila from the duty-free; but that doesn't cover everyone. What to do? Enter Plaza la Fiesta. Under one roof and on one credit-card swipe, you can get sequined velvet sombreros for the kids, colorful pottery jugs for grandma, shot glasses with filthy sayings on them for Cousin Randy, Dia de los Muerto figurines for the brooding teenaged nieces and some Frida Kahlo trinket boxes for your coworkers. Are these items the most unique and authentic Mexican handicrafts available, designed to be passed down for generations? No; but you don't have to search all over town and you don't have to pay a lot. There are a lot of very nice items here (even if they are likely mass-produced), as well as the kind of crummy old injection-molded tat that friends-but-not-best-friends at home expect to receive and are nonetheless happy to get. Free delivery to your hotel-zone hotel if you spend a particular amount; multiple-item discounts; not unreasonable prices. The downsides are more than made up for with the location, convenience, variety, and affordable, non-haggled prices.

    Chocolate making workshop
We have just spent a very enjoyable couple of hours with Jorge making chocolate in the Plaza de Fiesta. We didn't go with high expectations but what a great place. Jorge (our instructor)is knowledgeable and the session started with a history of chocolate making before our initial tasting of the chocolate available. Then it was on to creating our own with the odd nip of tequila to help the process along. An hour later we were heading home with our very own creations. The Plaza itself offers some great shopping with plenty of arts and crafts for sale. Prices are reasonable and most items are locally made. Well worth a look

Not a lot of quality stuff....
My wife and I visited this store and while it has a pretty good variety of items, most of them are not quality but rather seem to be mass-produced. After spending 15 minutes walking through the store, we decided to bag it and take a taxi to Market 28 downtown which has a much, much larger selection and much better variety of items...

Big warehouse-type outlet store. The closest thing I can compare it to in the US would be Dollar General. They have almost everything you might possibly need: souvenirs, clothing, jewelry, alcohol, groceries, toiletries and even medicine. There is even a coffee/sandwich shop. And a bathroom you don’t have to pay to use! Plus it is air conditioned (which is nice after you have been wandering around Cancun in the hot sun all day). Prices are decent; not as low as you can find in the other markets, but not as high as buying something from the souvenir shop at your hotel. The best part is NO HAGGLING OR HARRASSMENT! The salespeople don’t bother you, which is the type of shopping environment I prefer. I don’t care about haggling to get the best price and I don't want salespeople following me around while I browse; I just want to be left alone to shop! It’s located at the top of the hotel zone and easy to get to, and there is a bus stop right in front of the store.

A big shop with everything you can imagine about mexican stuff! You will find accessories, silver jewelry, china, food, candy, drinks, clothes. We spent a few hours there and bought gifts for all friends, and the price was good. We received a $ 20 bonus for every $ 50 in purchases to buy silver jewelry. Really worth it.

So they make you think your getting some great deal going into this place and every vendor pushes this coupon for 10% off. So i go and spend close to $150 american. I get back to my room and look through my stuff and compare to my receipt and find that the price on each thing i bought was different on the receipt than what was on each item. The lady literally charged me a minimum of 1-5 dollars over the original price after the supposed 10% discount. Then they say no returns no refunds! My bill shoulda been about $90 and it wasn't anywhere close! I wonder if they split the 60 bucks they robbed me for? Needless to say complete ripoff. Do not shop here!!!! Go take your chances haggling in the flea market!
