We spent a day charter fishing with Captain Willy and his crew. They were very friendly and worked hard to make the day memorable! We caught a total of 24 fish: 15 barracuda, 5 Bonita, 2 tuna, 1 trigger fish, and 1 grouper. No one stopped moving all 5 hours.

We had an amazing day of fishing and plan on booking with Captain Willy and his Family Fishing team again.

My husband and I travelled to Mexico for two weeks from the 6th December 2015 and wanted to see a lot of the sights but without spending a fortune. The excursions offered through Thomas Cook were expensive so I had a look online and found Cancun Best Discounts. We booked the ATV/Speedboat Tour and the Chichen Itza tour, both at a fraction of the price of TM, so of course we were a bit nervous. Turns out we had nothing to be nervous about!

Two days before travelling, I realised I had lost the ticket email. Contacted Martha at CBD, who had new ones sent to me within minutes. The website has a live chat facility which meant the issues could be ironed out immediately. No more panic!

The first trip we went on was ATV (quadbikes) and speedboat at Maroma Beach. The transfer driver, an absolute legend called Trinidad, turned up right on time in a lovely, clean, air conditioned van. Trinidad was so informative and downright hilarious, the 45 minute transfer felt like 5 minutes. When we got there, we were met by staff who took us quadbiking through the jungle (prepare to get muddy!) after which we were met by another member of staff who took us speed-boating (you operate the boat yourself but follow a guide boat). My husband participates in various extreme sports and he LOVED it, as did I. After the boat, we were provided with lunch and able to have a shower before another wonderful driver picked us up and took us back to the hotel.

The best thing about that day was, although we went on the excursion alone and without a group, we were never left wondering what was happening next- the experience was very well managed and there was no waiting around. If you're an adrenaline junkie, or just want something away from the beach, then this is the tour for you. Also, it's only half a day long so if you go on the 09:30 tour you will be back at your hotel by early afternoon and can relax for the rest of the day. All protective clothing and lockers are provided so you don't have to worry about needing to take specialist stuff, just bring some water and some hardwearing shoes for the quad bikes.

The second excursion was Chichen Itza, and boy, were we glad we went on that! This was a far bigger tour, so we were picked up (on time) by a coach that took us to a main coach elsewhere. The buses were clean, air conditioned (I know I keep saying that, but trust me, in Mexico you will need it) and we were provided with drinks, cookies and tequila on the trips there and back! The guides, Hector and Faffy, were amazing- lots of info about the Mayans on the way to our first destination. Hector himself has a degree in Mayan history and seriously knew his stuff. This wasn't just some guy with a script, these people live and breathe Mayan culture.

First, we stopped at a cenote for a swim and lunch. If you have not visited a cenote, DO IT. It's an almost spiritual experience and you won't regret it. Plus, the further into the jungle you get, the warmer and more humid it is, so it is nice to cool down! Next to the cenote site is a restaurant where we were provided with a lovely lunch and Mexican dancers.

The next stop was Chichen Itza itself. We were split into groups by language and set off for an hour and a half tour. Our guide was a Mayan descendant and knew everything you need to know about the ruins. After that, we had some time to explore alone and take some photos. The history of the place is remarkable and definitely something you should see if given the opportunity.

After Chichen Itza, we had a quick stop off at a small town called Valladolid. It was lovely to see some architecture and stretch your legs, plus the churros from the street vendors there were out of this world. After that, we went back to our hotel in time for our evening meal.

The most important things worth noting with CBC were that the prices were cheaper than everywhere else we looked, even the hotel's own excursions cost more. The customer service was second to none: our family bought us some excursions through our travel agent before we discovered CBD and, whilst they were good, they were not as well managed as CBD (plus they cost a lot more). We are from the UK and, yes, we were concerned about using a company that wasn't affiliated with our travel agent, but we had no problem with them at all. We were so impressed that we actually took time out of our holiday to email and let them know how great it had been. If you are travelling from the UK (or anywhere) then please check out this site before booking any excursions elsewhere.

The camel safari with best discounts tours was AMAZING! Definitely recommend it!

After I read several comments of best discounts tours I thought I could try some of their options. I saw the camel safari in the site and sounded interesting. There's not really real reviews here in tripadvisor about camel safari, only some forums saying that doing that kind of tour in cancun doesn't make any sense... Well... They're just wrong!

I contacted Martha trough the website, we exchange some e-mails and she was really helpful with everything. The day I arrive I called her from the hotel and she send me Randall to bring the tour vouchers to my hotel. After that it was all set!

The tour starts in a beach located 40 mins away from the hotel zone, in a beautiful place where you can make many activities. The group it's maximum of 8 people, but we are a group of 5 and the tour was just for us. You arrive, and then go to meet the camels. They're the most amazing animals ever! It's like a giant dog! I never thought I would like them this much, so pretty, so funny, and besides all the people believes , they does not smell at all!

My camel was Mushu was crazy, trying to eat everything on his way, but I had too much fun. You make like a 20 mins walk in the jungle, then arrive to the beach when you have plenty of time to take photos with them, pet them and give them food. The you get back again in the camel and go to the meeting place.

The guides were really nice, the tour was excellent! It's really worth it, I would definitely do it again! They have a photographer taking pictures all the time, and we even bought them! Good prices!

Booking this tour with Best discounts tours was the best decision of my trip. Thanks to Martha for her amazing service and for letting my family and me have and amazing and unforgettable experience!

Thanks Claudia. So happy to hear you also have a crush on camels. I love them. Not at all what I expected. It's a fun way to experience the jungle and beautiful Caribbean. I hope you get down again soon and can try some other interesting tours.

We've used wedeliver-cancun.com (sister service to Cancun Best Discounts) in the past and had great service. They'll pick you up at the airport and bring per-ordered groceries at the time of airport transfer at no extra delivery charge. So, you pull in to your condo stocked with groceries, ready to relax. All in a nice comfy shuttle bus with great transfer rates.

But, I'm not rating these services today. I'm rating their integrity. Doing business with honorable people is worth more than saving a buck or two, and Martha nailed it on this one.

We per-ordered groceries, and then, due to a late evening last minute flight change, we agreed to have the groceries delivered on the day after our arrival. Being unsure about arrival, they didn't want the groceries to have to sit too long and spoil. So we all agreed that it would be best for a next day grocery delivery. Martha and crew agreed not to charge the usual delivery free to be accommodating. A+ for service there.

In all of the discussion and time changes, they booked the delivery, but not the transfer. So, we got stuck at the airport. We grabbed a taxi and made it in. Not the end of the world, but it delayed us 30 minutes as we waited to see if the van would arrive.

So here's the impressive part. I always say do not judge people by their mistakes, but by how they respond to their mistakes. Not only did we get a refund on our transfer fees (without asking) we also received our cost for our taxi from the airport (again, without asking). A++ in integrity.

So, will I book with wedeliver-canun.com again for this service, even after the mess up? You bet! And I'd recommend any of their services to you, whether for transfers, groceries, or charters, if only because you can rest assured your booking will turn out exactly as you expect it to.

Thank you so much for this great review even after I messed up. It doesn't happen often, but we are human, and when it does we try to make it right. I've tweaked the system so it won't happen to anyone else. We appreciate your continued loyalty and look forward to serving you again on your next visit.

We were a group of 15 (2 kids and 13 adults/teens) and the cost per adult/teen was $72USD. Cancun Best Discounts is a reseller of the tour but it was well reviewed and our tour guide for the day was Jorge(George). Jorge is one of the best tour guides I have ever met as he is well traveled himself and is very knowledgeable and smart. He entertained us with his dry humour and his english is extremely good. He was also our english speaking tour guide in Chitzen-itza so he was on for the entire day. The restaurant we stopped for lunch was delicious mexican food and the drinks were included(beer and pop). We took the full day tour which included the cenote(sink hole swim), tried chocolate tequila and visited one of the small towns on the way back to our hotel. It is a full day but enough stops for bathroom breaks, they had beer and drinks on board including breakfast and light snacks. The bus is nicely air conditioned, comfortable and has a bathroom on board. The highlight of the trip was Jorge as he made the day trip even more enjoyable. This is a well organized tour and worth the price. You can also choose just to go to Chitzen-Itza and the lunch and it will be a shorter day. The bus seats about 45 people.

Complimentary hotel pick-ups at approximately 7:00am - 8:00am
Tour leaves Cancun or Riviera Maya at approximately 8:30am
Arrive Hubiku cenote, lunch, shop, swim approximately 11:00am - 12:30pm
Arrive and visit Chichen Itza approximately 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Valladolid approximately 4:30pm - 5:00pm
Arrive resort approx. 7:00pm - 8:00pm

I have used this company for transfers from the airport, as well as grocery delivery to the Westin Lagunamar. They are awesome. the groceries were 1st rate, including meat and vegetables. They will pick you up with your food and take you to your hotel, so no shopping, and you can head right to the beach.

We appreciate your continued loyalty and will strive to do our best each time to deserve it. We agree that beach time is what your vacation is all about - not grocery shopping. Having the order delivered with your airport transportation saves you even more time. We look forward to serving you again soon.

Booking through Cancun Best Discounts Day Tours couldn't be ANY easier. You book online through their site. They have several tours listed and very detailed descriptions for each tour so you can make an informed decision on which you would like to take. Martha will confirm via email regarding your tour and payment. Done. We had a few questions regarding the tour and Martha was very quick to respond via email. It really could not have gone smoother.

As for the tour itself, I highly recommend it but a few tips--

1.) Eat breakfast beforehand. Even though it says a continental breakfast is provided, it is really not substantial enough. Our tour guide Martin provided cookies his grandmother made and OJ. Throughout the journey to Chichen Itza and back, they also provided coffee, tequila, beer and water.

2.) Bring flip-flops to wear at the cenote (and a swimsuit of course, if you plan on swimming) but otherwise just stick with sneakers. You will be walking on gravel/rocky areas and you will be more comfy wearing closed-toed shoes with some cushion.

3.) You will be approached by many, many sales people all selling the same kinds of souvenirs. They will leave you be after a couple of tries. Just smile and shake your head no.

4.) Speaking of sales, you will be pitched a couple of times on the bus. One time before approaching the cenote (a customizable pendant with Mayan hieroglyphics and a Mayan calendar) and one time after (the bottle of liquor someone else mentioned in their review that has your picture on it). We ended up buying the pendant and the bottle of liquor.

While in Mexico, I did a few day trips, and this was the BEST - hands down! The bus was on time with pick up, and you were really treated well. There were light refreshments for breakfast - juice, coffee, cookies - which you could have more of if desired. Each time we boarded the bus - there was more in store - tequila, beer, water - you name it! Everyone was at YOUR service. Alex was our coordinator - he greeted us at pick up, ensured all the food/drinks were in place, and he served everyone with a smile and laughter. Alfonso was our tour guide - EXCELLENT. He was so knowledgeable, was awesome at telling the history of the Mayans and Chichen Itza. His english was VERY good. Highly recommend getting Alex and Alfonso if possible. The tour itself - AMAZING. The Cenote was beautiful. The water is chilly, but it's so refreshing and amazing seeing natural beauty. Chichen Itza - breathtaking. After hearing the history, it's truly amazing seeing one of the seven wonders of the world. The lunch at the cenote was VERY VERY VERY good. Make sure you eat the pork! Highly recommend the Tequila tour and tasting as well. This tour was well put together and much more valuable than the price tag. If you are in Mexico, this is a must!

Thanks for your detailed and great review. We think Chichen Itza is a must see as well, if you're at all interested in history. We've checked many of the ruins tours and think this is the best. So glad you enjoyed it. If you get back this way please allow us to show you more.
