They do not offer much. There are a few food places and overpriced souvenir shops but not much else. However, Coco Bongo is in this plaza. There are several characters (The Mask, Spider-Man, etc..) who try to bait you into buying tickets to the show/club....More

The area is quite empty until 2pm’ish. The prices are expensive and it seems the store almost sell the same things. Coco-bongo was interesting to see. We did not attend due to the $85.00 cover charge. I guess you are paying for the experience.

Granted, there are plenty of places to eat and souvenirs to purchase but that is it really. This area reminds me of AIYA NAPA/MALIA/ MAGALUF.......you get the picture if you have been to these areas but Forum by the SEA is just an american equivalent...More

Tourist trap for sure. The mall is pretty much a ghost town with very basic and pricey souvenir shops. My wife said the women's bathroom didn't have a toilet seat or toilet paper. Wow. Outside, Vendors are aggressive and rude. I Was offered cocaine twice...More

We explored the shops and stopped in the Hard Rock for a bit as well as eating at Hooter's. Safe, clean area. We were only here for a few hours as a getaway from our resort in Playa Mujeres. Food at Hooter's as expected with...More

The mall was decent. It had some normal stores that sold cheap trinkets that are found in every store in Cancun. It was nice and clean and there were security there. As a tourist, I felt perfectly fine. Hard rock was the same as every...More

Very convenient location in the hotel zone near Coco Bongo. Most notably the Hard Rock Cafe and a few other restaurants are located here along with some shops. It was very crowded at night with people just hanging around.

Dangers, Thanks for the info. We have been trying to find out info on their re-opening with no luck. This is the first word heard. Hope this date is realistic or at least maybe they'll be open when we come down the first week of May. Thanks again for the update.
