short and somewhat expensive, but beautiful
The tower goes very high and, on a sunny day, you can see VERY far away. Is possible to see all of the city inland and almost all of the hotel strip and its many beaches. For USD$20 I think it is quite expensive, and the whole ride takes a bit over 5 minutes, but if you went to Xcaret (or if money is not an issue) you get to ride for "free".

Perfect place to see Cancun from above
Perfect place to see Cancun from above. Wish it was higher though, but it delivers what's promised. You can either buy tickets at the entrance, or use your free trial of the tower once you've got Xcaret tickets. Usually, queues aren't too bad and, as the elevator ascends, a guided tour audio commences depicting all aspects of the city of Cancun. It a really great one, and a tour to the tour is highly recommended. The whole tour takes around 25/30 minutes, and the air con is just perfect.

    Beautiful views!
You get a free ticket when you book the Xcaret ferry that leaves the port right beside this activity. The ticket gives you free entrance to a day time and night time, so you can see the city and ocean both at the day and night. It is high, really! if you don't like heights then this is not for you! From up there it is possible to see all the way to the end of the town and even Isla Mujeres island. As the 'disc' goes up it also turns 360 so you can see the city, ocean and the lagoon.

Great views - buy xcaret boat ticket first for free entry
Great views to be seen from tower. I thought the timings of the experience was ok had plenty of time to take plenty of pictures and just take it all in. Had a free entry ticket from ferry ride to Isle Mujeres as to pay up front would be quite expensive. So if you plan to take ferry / boat buy the boat ticket first then you get free entry and it makes it very worthwhile

    Amazing 360 view
The scenic tower has a very nice 360-degree view. The price is expensive and this lasts approximately 10 minutes, so u should make the most of it bc the view up there is incredible, u can appreciate the sea on one side and a lake on the other. I really enjoyed it :) p.s: As you go up there is an informative recording about the Tower and Cancún, it’s only in Spanish, they should put it in English,bc the foreign people who were next to me didn't understand anything

Great views, short ride and free with Xcaret admission
We visited here after finding out that it is free admission with your ticket to Xcaret. Would not have paid the admission fee if it were not included. Views are nice and it turns at a reasonable pace. We went near sunset which made it picturesque. Not sure going at night would be as scenic. Tip: you need to be wearing your Xcaret wristband for admission so don’t throw it away after visiting Xcaret. Tip: parking next to the tower has a fee.

Ok - Not a must see
We went there as it was free with Xcaret admission. We went in the night and it was nice to see the well lit Cancun but don't think it is a must do and definitely not one if you have to pay 14USD to get up there in the night. May be the views would have been better in the day - esp of the beaches and the lagoons.

    Cash only???
So my wife son and I decided to see the sights from this. We have passed it many times and finally decided to go. well I cannot tell you how the experience was. Unfortunately when we went to pay the credit card machine was not functional. My wife asked when it would be and unfortunately they did not know and it's been non functional for quite some time. So my question is how can a tourist attraction not have the capability to accept credit cards? it's very frustrating and unfortunately very common but this seems to happen in Cancun at a lot of events and attractions and businesses. I would suggest calling establishment before you go or having your hotel call to make sure they accept credit cards. This is the reason why my ratings are what they are. Very frustrating as my son really wanted to go and we did not have the available cash on hand.

La Torre Escénica allows you to get awesome views of all of Cancun. If you have done one of the trips like Excaret your entry is free. You’re able to see the pirate boat shows as you rise. It gives a history of Cancun in English and Spanish. Biggest plus... it has AC!

It is simple, neat, not so expensive. It is included if you get a Xperience Pass at the XCaret group parks. The view of the lake and the Caribbean Sea is beautiful. It's also a good way to have a sense of dountown Cancun and its Zona Hotelera.

It is a beautiful view of Cancún, but a little pricey. I suggest if you go to Xcaret to keep your bracelet and save the entrance on this attraction. It was almost $60 USD for a family of four and the ride last about 10 minutes. If you do not mind spending the money, go ahead, the view is the best you can have in Cancún.
