Great beach. It is directly behind Coco Bongo night club. There is a small access road next to Coco Bongo that leads to the beach. Blue clear waters. No amenities/chairs/umbrellas, etc. Worth visiting. There are some nice rocks/boulders that make for great pictures above the water. Take a few water bottles and pack some snacks if you plan to stay there long. I would definitely go back to this beach in Cancun.

The beach is great, there are all kind of facilities (bathrooms and showers) at a reasonable cost (less than a dollar), there are places to eat very close and actually there are some vendor who approach people offering their very inexpensive goodies. You can rent a Sunbed and Umbrella or pay around USD$10.00 and enter a private beach Club with sunbeds, towels, pool and lounge music.

We went to Forum beach Cancun last week with kids. There are so many people and so loud because of the bar events. However, the scenery was very good.

There are a number of different beaches in Cancun, however the one that I like was at the top of the Hotel Zone opposite Senior Frogs and the Hard Rock Cafe big guitar. Simply take the R1 bus for about 20 minutes and you will reach one of the stops. The R1 costs 15peso for a one way ticket. Stroll down the street that leads to the beach and there it is. Crystal blue water, pure white clean sand and lots of sun lounges for you to relax on.

I am a resident of Cancun and had a friend visiting from out of town and of course wanted to enjoy a day of the spectacular beaches of the Cancun Hotel Zone. Unfortunately, the MIA Hotel, my regular place is closed, and the Mandala Beach Club was full, so we ended up at Forum. I have no problem paying the $100 pesos for the lounge chair. But I did have a problem when the waiter tried tapping the bill. When we were ready to go, I asked how much we owed and he quoted me a price. I started adding up in my head the prices I remembered from the menu, and it did not add up so I asked him to bring me the bill. There was not a total price on the bill, so i had to add ticket by ticket the items and some of the prices on the tickets were slightly higher than quoted on the menu. After adding it all, the total was still 80 pesos less than what he had quoted me. He then stated the difference was for the service. Umm. I said oh, ok the tip is included! He just screwed himself as I am usually a 20% tipper, and he ended up with a lot less. Besides that, it wasn't good service. We keep having to look for him, or send other waiters to track him down. It just really bothers me that some waiters are trying to take advantage of tourists, especially in those touristy places. The ocean was really rough as well. Impossible to get far enough out to swim, dangerous. We walked around closer to the point in front of the Krystal hotel to get in the water, mucher nicer and calmer, too bad there is no beach club there. Will be looking for a different place.

This was by far our favorite beach we visited. We parked our rental at the Forum Shops underground parking and walked right out to the beach. We sat at a place called Mandella Beach Club. It was fanstastic...you have to pay for the use of the chairs and umbrella however you get that back in credit for drinks and food. You are also welcome to use their incredible pools, showers and bars.

This is a little mall located at club zone, where you will find most of the night clubs, including Coco bongo, hard rock and Carlos and charlies among other, besides the clubs there are a few restaurants and some shops to do souvenir shopping.

This beach experience saved our afternoon. We unexpectedly stumbled upon this outdoor party after a mediocre lunch at Hard Rock. Just off the back patio of the restaurant was a full beach party with 2 live DJ's spinning on the turntables. The drinks were flowing and the crowd was there to enjoy great scenery, nice cocktails and good company.
The bar wasn't packed-we enjoyed a lazy hour jammin to the music and sipping libations. Get away from the rush of the strip and slip away to this perfect public hideaway. The locals know how to kick back and let the good times roll.

Hey me and some friends are planning a trip to tulum in March. I wanted to know if I could bring my vape and juice. I keep searching around but I’m not getting any clear answers.
From my understanding it is illegal to sell or distribute anything vape related but for personal use it’s ok. Someone please verify this for me.

Hello, We are coming to Cancun in January 2017 (yeah!) and staying in a condo in Playa Blanca, along Carr. A Punta Sam. What is the beach like there? Will it be good for sunning and swimming. Can you recommend any restaurants nearby. What is transportation like to the Hotel Zone?
Thanks in advance for any info. Marc

Coming to Cancun during Spring Break in 2017. I'll be traveling with my daughters ages 14 and 17. Looking for someplace that's not real crazy with College Kids.
Any suggestions would be great.

Check the fine print on the hotels- some of them do not allow the spring breakers.
