I stayed in cancun downtown near the ADO bus terminal. For a couple of peso's i took a bus to Avenida Kukulkan and I got of at the biggest hotel. I just walked through the lobby and stood by the pool for a bit. I left my bag and towel in a corner and I walked directly to the beach.... More

If you need a break from your resort's stores and need some of the local goods you will find yourself here, plenty to see and do so make sure you plan it for all day, just do your best to avoid those selling timeshares, in fact everyone sells time share

Everything is pretty much on Kukulcan Ave. Plaza Kukulcan has a grocery store on second floor, for those cooking their own meals. La Isla Mall. The vendors at Plaza Caracol can be a little pushy and aggressive.. Plenty to do. especially at night if you enjoy the clubs There is no need for tourist. Especially young tourist to venture out... Lots of places to eat, drink but get ready to pay. Allot of the places are overprices but its expected. For example one of the places chared 2 usd for a small glass of lemonade. Avoid the taxi and take the bus they are fairly cheap. If you have a rental car it will cost you 25 pesos to park... More

We were stuck in traffic for about two hours. We made ir to the club and we felt so tired that we decided that we had to go back. 10pm-1am. Too long. Other than that you fine restaurants, money exchange places, markets and mini markets and a beautiful mall ;)

As you take the shuttle from the airport to your hotel you'll quickly become familiar with Avenida Kukulkan. It runs the length of the hotel zone passing by shopping areas, multiple restaurants, Playa Delfines, a golf course and the myriad of Cancun hotels. Depending upon where you stay, you can then decide to walk to the places you want to... More

Ave. Kukulkan is clean and safe and if you can bare the heat great place for a run. Would like to see wider sidewalks to accommodate bikers or rollerblading too.
