Had a great trip today with our guide Jose, we only did the shorter 4 hour trip but he managed to get us on a lot of fish, however I was not that experienced with catching tarpon so ended up losing a number of the hook ups.
Overall really enjoyed the trip and was glad to have caught my very first tarpon
Probably wouldn’t recommend though if you don’t have any fishing experience as my partner struggled a bit as she is not great at casting. She did however improve over the course of the trip with help from Jose.

Wow, amazing trip.
Bernardo was a great guide, put me on baby tarpon & snook within the first 30 minutes of the trip. I ended up landing 5 tarpon but only because of my lack of skill, should've had a handful more.
I'd recommend these guys any day. In fact, my brother is in Cancun this week and is booking a trip with them.
Great communication, transportation was easy, lunch was perfect (sandwich/chips/drink).

We had a wonderful time fishing with Bernardo for 2 days. We had great tarpon action both days! Bernardo put us on the fish and patiently worked with me on imporoving technique as lm not the most experienced angler. Cancun fly fishing picked us up from our hotel so there was no stress getting to and from the boat. Awesome time and we will definitely be doing it again! Thank you Bernardo and Cancún fly fishing !

Jose is the man! He put me on a multitude of rolling tarpon and I was able to catch my first saltwater fish on the fly rod (as well as missing one in the 20+ pound range, which was my fault for not setting hard enough). He gave great direction as to where to cast (10 o' clock, 11o' clock, etc), put us in the right spots and was very patient and positive. Can't wait to come back next year!

Had a great, quick trip with these guys in the laguna behind the hotel zone, oriented toward the chance of catching tarpon in the sunset hour. I'm not the world's best caster; Mau politely asked if I'd like a little lesson. It helped a lot! When the tarpon started rolling, and my fly seemed not to work, he changed flies until we found one that did work. I blew the first strike, got the second one, and the minute of glory made it all worthwhile. It's fun catching fish like this in view of the hotels.

A great day with Enrique. Second time using company. Arrived a few minutes early. Got snapper and nice snooks on spinning gear. Missed some tarpon as followed bait but didn't hook. Found a nice hole with a school of smaller snapper we took with fly rod which was great. He had boat angled so breeze at my back which increased me casting confidence. Will use again

This company does a great job. The reservation process is easy and they communicate well as to how it's going to work. And then the guides work very hard to get you fish and don't shame you if your casting is a little off:). I've used them on 2 different occasions when sneaking away from family at the hotel and was incredibly pleased. They can't control the weather, bite, or your casting...but they'll certainly put you in a great position and show you a beautiful part of the world.

I've been lucky enough to fish with many experienced fly-fishing guides. I was extremely impressed with Enrique and his patient, hard working approach. Not only did he work his tail off to put us on fish, he's an absolute professional.
We fished with Enrique for two days and caught so many tarpon we lost count. My buddy landed his first Permit on the fly with several more shots.
I highly recommend Cancun Fly Fishing!! From working with Jon upon booking - outstanding communication BTW, the provided transportation, the entire experience was first class and we'll definitely be returning!

Had a terrific time with Jose as my captain. We spent most of our time with spin gear as I have no fly experience, but he was kind enough to work with my on the fly rod a little to give me some pointers. He put me on my first tarpon and clearly had good instincts about where fish were. Had a great time and would definitely rebook if I’m here in the future.

We had a great day fishing and caught red snapper and snook. Noel made the trip so relaxing and enjoyable. My husband is a good fisherman but I am not. Noel cast my line for me and was so patient. We will definitely book again on our next trip to Cancun!!

Pick ups are included on our Isla Blanca trip from hotels in the Cancun hotel zone, downtown, or in the Playa Mujeres area. For the Cancun lagoon trips everyone shows up at the docks for the trips.
