Recently we needed to take the ferry from Cancun to Isla Mujeres and Ultramar is pretty much the only option, so we had to use them. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us on the trip over, the ticket agent tore part of both of our return stubs...More
Caught the Ultramar ferry from Playa Del Carmen to Cozumel a couple of times for daytrips and found it to be a quick and convenient option. The ferries were air conditioned and comfortable and both times there was a Mexican band onboard playing popular songs....More
I presume it’s the only way to go to isla mujeres and cozumel but it’s expensive, always late, and the trip is terribly noisy! Super loud commercial music, and then the typical « Mexican » singer with jts outfit ... they obviously see us all as stupid...More

I think the route 2 bus goes along Blvd Kuklkan. If you stay on the bus, the ferry stop is on the same side of the road. You can’t miss the stop as you should be ready to get off once you pass the pirate boats on the right.
