The whole tour was a sales pitch

This was the first time my kids had been to Mexico and they were excited to see Chichen Itza. I thought a "cultural" experience would be great. I was wrong. It was 14 hours of... read more

We did the tulum/coba tour. Through cancun discounts / gomexico. Found out through some research this is where I should post a review. Tough to tell sometimes. Anyway, at both Tulum and at Coba, the guide simply talked far too long with the group standing and listening. Some of the time not even near to the best ruins. My wife... More

Don't do it to yourselves , start the day early at 7.00am. Get on the bus within 5 minutes tour man is trying to sell you absolute rubbish. Telling us about a rock he puts under his bed so he doesn't get nightmares and sleeps very well. First stop is at a souvenir shop full of junk that you will... More

We are still on the bus returning from the worst trip ever. So glad the friends we invited to join us didn't come. We'd have been embarrassed to death that we suggested this trip!! This was a total waste of our precious vacation time and money! Almost no time seeing sights! Hours and hours of riding with no comments from... More

We booked an all inclusive trip to Chichen Itza during our week long stay in Cancun. We booked using a travel agent located in the Mall of the Americas. We were able to haggle, we told her she should give us the AARP discount and she gave us a 10% discount. The trip was along day but worthwhile, its like... More

We booked our tour to Chichen Itza through our hotel. We got a good rate because we had done their time share presentation, but it still wasn't worth it. They picked us up in a van at our hotel at 6:45am. We picked up a few other people and then eventually met up with a couple of tour buses. We... More

We booked a trip with catamaran to Isla Mujeres. They never picked us up.. we waited outside our apartment for about one hour. When we called them they said it was because of the bad weather and that we could find another day.. ok, that was fine. Later that day a guy from the company called and asked for more... More

We were supposed to be picked up in a delux motorcoach with seats that fold all the way down, and bathrooms on board. My wife had an injury thats why we wanted a comforatable ride. We were picked up in a smaller van no bathrooms. Very uncomforatable ride , seats were airplane size and reclined very little. The tour guide... More

This was the first time my kids had been to Mexico and they were excited to see Chichen Itza. I thought a "cultural" experience would be great. I was wrong. It was 14 hours of riding in a bus to be constantly sold to. We were picked up by a can at 7:10 am and rode 45 min to be... More
