Never going back!!!! These people kept denied my daughter water activities because she had a life vest. They felt the life vest shows she can’t swim. I informed them that the life vest is a extra protection. They want her to jump in the water, (9 feet) to What backwards policy is that? It is written nowhere, just something they mad up that they believe. And the transportation from the company, that I paid for didn’t not return. After the company called. They told me I have to stand on the highway and get a taxi. In Mexico? I will never return to this place.

We booked and paid for the Fintastic package prior to travelling to Cancun via their own website. We also paid for the individual photo package. We used the Dolphinaris transfer to and from our hotel. They arrived late despite asking us to wait at the pickup spot 15 mins prior to the agreed time. Checking in was easy enough - remember to take debit/ credit card and ID if you booked online. We had free access to the Ventura water park and also free food and drinks was included with our wristband. Ventura park - lazy river and wave pool were brilliant and lots of fun however, I wasn't allowed on any of the water slides due to wearing glasses. The staff were very rude when I told them I am physically unable to see without my glasses on and why it is discrimination to not allow visually impaired people to ride on the slides. I went to the reception at Dolphinaris to ensure that this wouldn't be an issue with the dolphin experience and the man behind the counter agreed that I will be okay as long as my glasses are prescription. We paid 300USD for the trip to then be told once already in the water with the dolphins that I would be unable to participate due to wearing glasses. I physically would be unable to participate / complete the package we paid for without wearing my glasses . In fact, it would be a health hazard if I attempted to swim with no glasses on. After several arguments with several different people and a request of a refund, the supervisor agreed I can take part but I was only allowed the Dorsal ride and had the choice of Dorsal ride or foot push taken away from me. I was also left alone in the shallow end of the water while all other participants went into the deeper section to have interactions with the dolphins. The interactions with the dolphins in the shallow end (this is where most photos are taken) included a kiss from the dolphin, feeling their fins, stroking them, holding their "hands", watching them dance, talk and jump. For all other participants, this experience would have been amazing! Dolphin trainer was very informative and lovely. The dolphins themselves are so so clever and beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience as everybody else just because of a condition I was born with. Photos taken were also really lovely. Can't comment on prices because we pre-paid for the package as mentioned above ,which is absolutely worth it. You get 1 printed photo of your choice and all other photographs sent to your email address for you to store digitally.

My family did the fintastic swim program last Thursday. The program itself was not bad. Although we were in the water for 40 minutes, the interaction with the dolphin was limited due to the size of our group. My family also enjoyed the free admission to Ventura park. However, customer service was poor for purchasing the photo. We were told that we could pay for our pictures with discounted price as mentioned by the representative over the phone when I call to inquire about the program. When I was told to purchase the photo at a higher price right before we catch the shuttle back to the hotel. The staff told me to email the company directly that they could honor the discounted price for me. So I emailed them the next day. I exchanged email with them back and forth . The rep told me they cannot offer me the discounted price after two days of the event. I explained to them I emailed them the next day of the event but then they didn't reply me on the following day. So now they are not even responding to my email.

Not thinking this all the way through, I booked this for my family. As soon as I stepped in, I immediately regretted it. These dolphins do not look happy or healthy. Unfortunately I did my research about these places after I went, but I really wish I would have reviewed and thought about beforehand. Poor dolphins, they are used as an amusment park ride, working for their food.

We booked this with our TUI rep, who we felt was untruthful with what he sold. We where told you got a drink, food, to interact with the dolphins, foot push and fin swim. No need to bring anything he said just your swimwear clothes, hat and shoes. We got there told it was approx £40 pp more to fin swim. Considering we’d already paid £140 pp anyway! There’s only so much money you can rinse out of a tourist. We’re issued with a locker and asked to remove Jewellery inc all our rings. Might be worth taking note as leaving them in hotel safe may bring you piece of mind, not that anything went missing. After a initial 20 min wait we where told to shower to rinse off sun lotion (sun lotion is not dolphin friendly) kitted out with buoyancy jacket and watched a short video on what to expect and the rules. We as a party of six and with 3 other parties where lead across walkways (keep your shoes on the walkways are burning hot! We then separated all groups allocated a trainer and a dolphin. There are platforms in the water and after removing our shoes and hotfooting it down several stairs the interaction with the beautiful dolphin began. We got to stroke the main torso and belly of the dolphin several times, kiss the dolphin, hold two flippers, listen to dolphin tunes, got soaked by dolphin tails, foot pushed, and leaped over. All while they where taking photos. The trainers where incredibly knowledgeable, factual, helpful, they took time, friendly and they cared. They made the whole experience fun even for the oldest person in our group who was cautious, optimistic and weary we where fully aware we where taking a 63 year old man out of his comfort zone. But the trainers took time to encourage and exhilarate everyone. Dolphins known to be incredibly calming and therapeutical are beautiful creatures who love people interaction. Here they are well cared for and treated with the respect they fully deserve. When we got out showered again and was given a towel to dry. We where shown the photographs. They where fantastic high quality and captured the experience but super expensive at almost £300. They offered to reduce to £224 still enormously costly. At this point we walked away by the gift shop we got approached by a staff member who in “flexico Mexico” cut us a deal for all the pic sent to our email for £150 Sounds a lot but we went as a group of 6 friend and if you divide that per couple it’s £50 each and there are a good 60 pictures. We went in with mixed feelings about this trip but left highly recommending the experience to anyone. Just be savvy with your pound!
