This is a first class operation and created great memories for us! While vacationing at the Belmond Maroma, the hotel booked our tour with 4 Worlds Expeditions to the Tulum archeological site and then snorkeling at Yal Ku. Axel Flores was our guide for both and we enjoyed his deep knowledge of the Mayan civilization. Axel brought ancient history to life for us with enthusiasm as we toured the site together. We enjoyed a beachfront lunch then went snorkeling at Yal Ku. Yal Ku is a quiet lagoon and natural breeding ground for a wonderful assortment of fish. Axel actually swam with us to insure we experienced all the sights the lagoon had to offer. Our driver was very friendly and looked after our comfort both in and out of the car during the entire day. 4 Worlds Expeditions exceeded our expectations.

After searching for the perfect tour during our stay in Riviera Maya, my travel advisor (Creosote Journeys) suggested a private tour so we could pick exactly what we wanted our day to be like. I'm so glad we decided book and I'm so glad that she booked with 4 Worlds Expeditions. Ana our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to share so much information about the Mayan Ruins in Tulum. She smartly made the ruins our first stop of the day so we didn't experience big crowds and while it was still hot, we weren't there for the hottest part of the day. After shopping and lunch we got to explore a cave and underwater river. I was so impressed that Ana guided this portion herself! We also got to enjoy one of the cenotes. I wish we could have stayed all day!
I must also highlight our excellent driver, Marvin. He was always waiting with towels, water, granola bars and hand sanitizer. He even went ABOVE and beyond by finding some cajeta that my friend was looking for in the shops!
We felt safe during the entire experience with the COVID protocols, which is another reason why I'm glad we opted for a private experience. We were able to relax and have the car to ourselves.
I must also highlight our excellent driver, Marvin. He was always waiting with towels, water, granola bars and hand sanitizer. He even went ABOVE and beyond by finding some cajeta that my friend was looking for in the shops!

We booked via the Belmond and used 4 Worlds for airport transfer and for a private after hours tour of the Tulum ruins. We had Miguel for our airport transfers -- on time and smooth pickups and arrivals. For our Tulum ruins tour, Axl (guide) and Carlos (driver) were wonderful and fun. Axl was very informative about the Mayan ruins and we had a great time, including a quick spur trip to the town of Tulum. All in, the company and Miguel, Axl and Carlos were great.

Our guide Axel Yahir Flores Labastida was excellent. He explained the Mayan culture and the significance of the ruins at Chichen Itza and Tulum. He was charming, professional, and gave very clear explanations of what we were seeing. He studied archeology so he is very well informed. He and his drivers are a great team . They made sure we had plenty of water, snacks and cold towels as the day warmed up.

My husband and I booked an excursion through the resort we were staying at (Rosewood Mayakoba). We decided to visit some Cenotes since they are unique to that area. Our driver, Marvin, ensured that we had a very comfortable ride. The SUV was very clean with refreshments and even included Wi-Fi. Our tour guide, Israel, was so knowledgeable. As we explored the Cenotes and the park he shared a bunch of information/facts and explained some Mexican culture and history with us. He was able to answer all our questions and more! We visited 3 different cenotes and each one was so unique. The first was an open cenote, my husband and I zip lined into it! The next one was we arrived at the water was crystal clear. It was a little ominous at first because when you looked down into the cenote with goggles you just see a deep black hole! It was so deep that there were actually scuba divers. I actually found comfort that they were doing a dive while we were enjoying the surface. The last cenote was in cave, the water was also crystal clear however much cooler (but we got used to it quickly). To look at some of the rock formations under water you had to use a flashlight which was actually pretty cool. Israel guided us around the cave and made sure we had our footing everywhere we went.
After the cenotes we headed into Puerto Morelos to grab lunch and went to a place that Marvin recommended—it was delicious!
Overall it was a terrific experience and I highly recommend it. If you book with 4 Worlds Expeditions ask for Israel and Marvin!

Our Private tour departed from Belmond Maroma Beach, promptly at 7Am.
We had a driver (Tony) and guide (Luis). The car was a nice, clean and smooth SUV.
Trip from Maroma Beach to Chichen-Itza too 2 and 1/2 hrs but Luis chatting with us made the trip seem shorter. If you would like a shorter trip, you could do TULUM by the water that's only 1hr or so away.
Once we arrived, Luis went to get tix, (super fast) while Tony guided us to the bathrooms. We applied tons of SPF and off we went. Luis was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very pleasant. Around 11Am or so, we left for Valladolid where we had lunch. We were back at hotel, with no issues, just in time to enjoy a nice afternoon at the beach.

Our party of 6 booked two private cenote tours with 4 Worlds - each was a unique and amazing experience! They make it easy by providing everything needed for the activities, and organize the day to avoid other groups or crowds. They provide all the flexibility needed to create a luxurious and custom experience. Our guide Anna was amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and a warm and wonderful human being. Highly recommend!

We took two tours with them. One to Chichen Itza and one for a half day fishing trip. Our tour guides were Axel and Anita and our driver was Miguel. We had the best experience. They were super professional and knowledgeable and great with our 7 year old son. We had so much fun with them on our tour. We would recommend this company and trust that we would get amazing service each time. We are excited to come back next year and do a Tulum tour with them.

We were in July 2015, 10 nights at the Banyan Tree Mayakoba. It was a wonderful location.
It should be a vacation to relax consisting of a mix of relaxation and experience. Even in Germany, I contacted the travel agency on site 4 Worls Expeditions. Even the first mail was kind enough written that I had peace of mind to look after tours.
My contact was Marit. She gave me detailed information about the offers of the Agency. So we decided for a total of 3 tours.
Snorkeling & Caves, Swimming with whale sharks and Chitzen Itza & Cenote
I had such a long time is no longer a dedicated lady. She gave so much informations . Love Marit at this point a big thank you to you.
I would also like to say thanks the two guides who gave us .
A very special thanks to Sylvia, who managed my anxiety took while diving with the whale sharks.
The trips were gigantic and super well organized. Claims The complete package for tourists with luxury. I can put anyone these tours with agency to the heart.

We first were recommended to 4Worlds Expeditions when we were looking to host our wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Our hotel suggested we reach out to 4Worlds because they had success in the past. We were immediately greeted by the owner, Sylvie Phelis. Having extensive experience with car/limo services throughout the world I would say that Sylvie and her team are at the top of the list. They treat everyone like royalty and ensure your satisfaction every step of the way.
We decided to have our wedding in Playa del Carmen, and of course HAD to select 4Worlds Expeditions for the transportation of our 100+ guests. I wish 4Worlds was in every city that we visited.
A must if you're looking for airport transportation, group transportation, or just a tour around the area.
