My wife and I went to Chichen Itza with Cosmo Tours as part of the Moon Palace resort credit offer so it only cost us around £18 each which is a bargain! The journey from Cancun is very long, around 2-2.5 hours but there is a stop along the way at a tourist trap where you get a nice meal... More

Chichen Itza itself is great and is worth seeing. The bus journey there is very long however. It was a big bus that was completely packed out. Throughout the whole bus ride there the "tour guide" will be talking non-stop which is kind of annoying. There will also be a completely unnecessary stop at a fake tourist-trap-like "Mayan village" which... More

We did this tour with first choice/thompson tours during our holiday in cancun, fantastic tour from the minute we were picked up from our hotel, great tour guide (George) who was very informative and a bit of a comedian, the drive to chichen itza is about three hours and there isn't a lot to see along the way! But George... More

This is a very long day, picked up at 7 am and dropped off back at hotel at 11 pm. The history and information were very good from our guide. We were lucky enough to be there on the Spring Equinox and got to see the 'serpent' shadow travel into the ground. Very cool. The stop at the Mayan village... More

We recently returned from a week at the Paradisus in Cancun and had decided to purchase a tour to Chichenitza at the recommendation of our daughter, who had been there some years ago. Hands down, this was an unforgetable experience!! Our group was led by Delio Aguilar, a gracious, friendly, bilingual and incredibly knowledgeable guide who made our day a... More

It was our First time to Mexico and Chichen Itza was one of those places we had at the top of our bucketlist. It happens to be 1 of the 7 wonders of the world and we needed to see it. So, on our first day in Cancun we booked the Chichen Itza tour from a local booking agent and... More

We stayed at the Hard Rock Riviera in Cancun. The tour bus picked us up at the hotel, cost was $156.00 U.S. although it was a three hour ride the bus was equipped with a couple of restrooms, they handed out free water, and free Mexican pastries called Conchas, our tour guide(s) were very well spoken and shared about the... They pick you up early at your hotel in a VERY tight fitting van. I'm 6' and my knees were in the back of the seat in front of me. We then get shuddled to another location down the road and get on a tour bus that is just as tight in space. The first stop is a "mayan village"... More
