We had a great day with this tour operator! The tour guide Samuel and the bus driver Danilo were very welcoming and helpful. Sam shared funny anecdotes and insights on the local culture, which made the trip more interesting and entertaining. They were both very reliable and punctual!

The tour started with a quick visit at a "cooperativa". It is the typical tourist stop where people are encouraged to buy souvenirs. The sellers were a bit insistent, following you around, which is a bit of a downside. But this is common practice in many tours so just kindly decline. The stop was only around 30 mins so nothing too time consuming and good to rest after the bus trip.

After that we went straight to Chichen Itza. Since we purchased the "All inclusive" option, tickets were already included which made it easy to access the site. Other options can buy their tickets at the entrance, which seemed to work equally fast. Sam gave us a guided tour of the site and then we had roughly 1 hour to explore Chichen Itza ourselves. Beware there are a lot of sellers on site, so avoid them and just move past them if you are not interested in souvenirs. The site is big so be ready to walk quite a bit. Bring sunscreen and enough to drink! It gets quite hot and exhausting. However, there are quite a few spots with shade to sit and enjoy the spectacular archaeological site. We felt like we had enough time to see everything.

The next stop was the Cenote Chichikan. The Cenote is part of a whole site/area. Tickets were already included. The "All Inclusive" packet came with an additional locker voucher and drink voucher. The place was very clean, the entrance was fast. Most importantly the Cenote is beautiful. For a first time, this was an incredible experience swimming in a cave. It had a waterfall and surprisingly it was not too full. Of course expect quite some tourists to be there. Overall, we felt really comfortable and enjoyed our adventure!

The buffet was included and was also on the Chichikan site. The food was really enjoyable and diverse. The only downside was the time. We wish we had more time to enjoy the place. We swam for roughly 25mins in the Cenote. So we would recommend going swimming first and then eating. Time to change, shower, go to the bathroom and put on the life vest as well as going down the stairs can take more time than you think. So have an alarm with you to be on the safe side! Lockers were fine, they fit everything.

Our last stop was at the city centre of Valladolid, a small traditional southern Mexican city. Here we only had 30 minutes which is a bit short. The guides will take you to a specific shop. We would recommend to just explore the square yourself. On the corner of the street you'll find an ice cream shop called "La Moreliana Special" which sells home made ice cream and popsicles. I had a mango popsicle with real mango in it. Delicious and very affordable.

After this we went back to the bus and drove back to Cancún.

Some extra information:

The bus ride is roughly 3 hours to Chichen Itza. Be prepared to sit for quite some time. Beware, the seats in the bus are small. I am 1,80m (5'11") and struggled to sit comfortably. So make sure to bring comfy clothes and be a bit uncomfortable in the ride.
That is no one's fault though, especially here where people are a bit smaller :)

Overall we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. As long as you don't give in to every shopping offer, you will have fun!

Overall the day was good, I particularly enjoyed the swimming in the cave. I think they could make it clearer on the website that there are lots of extras that need to be paid for after your initial booking. Pick up (extra 10usd) life jackets, lockers etc. Don’t bother with the all inclusive price…. they will text you constantly once you have booked to try and upgrade you. It’s cheaper to sort when you get there.

I’m not sure why they just don’t have an all inclusive price that really is what it says?

A great day trip to Chichen Itza, with additional trips to underground water lagoon and an old colonial town. Alan and Alfredo were great at giving information about the areas and history of the Mayans. Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend to all!

My friend and I had a great time. Our tour guides, Alan and Alfredo had many stories and useful information. They were kind, friendly, and funny. Gregorio was a great driver, friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this tour. The time in the bus passed quickly because it was as in good company (the guides).

Well guided tour of Chichén Itzá, Cenote and colonial town with Miguel and Raul today. My family enjoyed it very much, even though it was almost 100 degs! Miguel was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was an absolute pleasure!

Ola Ola Coca-Cola!! We booked through Viator with Sat Mexico to Chichén Itzá, our tour guide Cezar and his team were absolutely brilliant, they provided us with all the necessary informations regarding the trip and constantly updated us with what’s to come next so we allays felled informed and in good hands, Cesar is very knowledgeable and conveyed the information in an exiting manner so it never felled bored. When at the ruins make sure you barter about the prizes, they are very inflated and you can always get the desired items at a fraction of the cost if you take a minute to go forth and back and don’t be shy to walk away if you think is still too expensive, they might follow you with a better Prise. ATTENTION, despite what you hear on the news and friends about Mexico and the cartel, this trip felt always Safe and we always felt in good hands, not one time we had a worry on our minds.

So much fun!! The boat ride was amazing, the water is so beautiful. They had many drinks flowing. All the crew were very helpful and entertaining. Good music and a party vibe. The snorkeling was awesome, but make sure you are a good swimmer. The food at the buffet was great, and the beaches we stopped at were beautiful. Lots to do and see. Totally recommend!

Pretty much exactly what we wanted - great way to see Chichen Itza while getting some background info and some extras. The cenote was wonderful as well!

Friendly, funny, and knowledgeable staff (Victor, Alfredo, Ruth). There were some slight delays but that’s to be expected with so many passengers.

Probably one of my best days in Mexico. Victor, Ruth and Alfredo were amazing. Chechen itza was fantastic and the tour was the quick way into the ruins. 💯 want to come back and take the rest of my family. Way to create the perfect day. Ruins, cenote, food, and tequila tasting combined with a great toor guide that will keep you entertained and laughing. Can’t say thanks enough totally worth every penny.
