This lace is a very nice and clean beach. The snorkling is good and it wasnt too crowded. Hardly any currents to speak off. Bring your own snorkelling gear as it is only sometimes available for hire.

Chac Mool is a public beach, which means there is a public entrance, its close to a bus stop, drug store, convenience stores, and some restaurants. Near from it is also the "Disco area" (coco bongo, and many others.

Hi, My husband, Baby and I are pondering a trip to cancun in early SEPT for 1 week. We love booking thru VRBO. (direct with the private owners) I have been to cancun 2x but hubby has never been. I have always stayed in hotels when coming there. but now we are looking for a condo with kitchenette, since we have our baby with us. We would like to go to LAID BACK restaraunts on the beach and maybe have a coctail during the daytime while on the beach. We are looking at a personal Penthouse at...More

In September the entire Cancun area has minimal amount of tourists. So you will not have to deal with any crowds. More then likely you will have to wonder where everyone is. As for Brisas-there are a lot of issues with Brisas since they are still fixing it up since hurricane Wilma and they are far from done. The room you may rent may be nice inside, but the outside i questionable. Girasol is indeed near the entertainment area, but the beach is not great in front of it, plus the place...More
