It was away from everything, we stayed in Dreams just down the street we had scheduled to take family photos and they had taken us here. It was quite peaceful. It does get bumpy as you get closer, there was a bar/restaurant didn’t get to buy anything, but a beer. I would love to go again to hang out all day.

Nice beach far away from the hustle and bustle of Cancun. BEWARE!! THEY WILL GRINGO TAX YOU!! Very shady at the front gate. DO NOT pay more than 100 peso per vehicle. They charged us per person and we saw them charge locals cheaper. If you want a cabana, same thing, do not pay more than 100 peso. Haggle and stand your ground. They are not honest here. However, they need the income, so you leaving is worse.

This is a completely different beach area as normally we see in Cancun. The place is very nice the sea is so clean and absolutely blue as Cancun but the better thing it's this is a virgin space.
No resorts, no buildings, no stress.
The place is very nice very familiar and comfortable, you can have a nice time the special thing there is by the right side it is the sea and to left side is the lagoon.
You can get there by car and its a little long time a part of the way is a street and other part of it is a unregular street and if you want to stay closer to the beach you have to pay about 30$ MNX.
There you can rent some kayaks to make your visit better.

Recomendations
- Don't forget food. There you can get some offers but if you carry food is better.
- Take your umbrella. The place is very hot if you have it take it, but also you can rent one there.
- Use a biodegradable sunscreen.
- If you take your dogs be responsible about them, keep beach and sea clean.
- You can rent some kayak the cost is 200$ MNX per 2 pax per 1 hour.
- To pass there, the parking is 30$ MNX
- HAVE FUN!

We drove from km 12.5 to isla blanca. The beach was littered like only a Mexican beach can be. Great view of isla mujeres. Not much happening unless you want to kite board on the lagoon side. We didn't stop for a beer, just not our scene.

If you are looking for flat water and great wind, this is the spot. Knee deep water and surf on almost any wind direction. Possibility to rent gear, ask for Rodrigo.
Best experience.

Isla Blanca is sandy peninsula stretching for about 20km,East of Cancun.
There is no public transport to this area, its quite remote,so it feels very private.
It's an area mostly frequented by locals and their families so it's very authentic, very chill.
There is a big carpark and a small restaurant that serves drinks too, until 6pm.
The beach is like a strip with water on both sides, the sunset is particularly beautiful to watch here.
I had the privilege to discover this place guided by a local lady that I've met on Tinder,in Cancun tinder actually works.
Because there aren't too many tourists, its a good place to observe Tiburon Sharks during the hot season, but also very good for kyte surfing, kayaking & cycling.
Overall it felt very nice, the scenery is stunning and safe too.
If you are looking for a special place, where you can literally walk for miles without meeting anybody, this is perfect !

All the best,

George

My boyfriend and I rented a car and drove out to see Isla Blanca. Photos online made the beach look nice but the reality was not. The beach was a ghost town. We were probably the one ones there besides the workers who were cleaning up dead seaweeds that constantly wash ashore. We paid 50 pesos for parking and after 10 minutes we left.

Beautiful beach with the ocean on one side and lagoon on the other. The sand is so soft and white and clean and the ocean is simply beautiful.
You can take your own picnic or enjoy some snacks at the stand. Bathrooms are clean!

We loved the clear sands and water of Isla Blanca. We were near Playa del Nino and was a 30 mins ride from there. The last several kilometers are not paved road so check the weather before heading out.
Water is clean and enjoyed our time spent there. There are a few places to eat. There is a restroom also there. Parking is 50 Mexican Pesos.
They do a lot of kite surfing out there.
Worth a visit if you are looking out for some virgin beaches.
