    Ventura Park for All Ages
The park was incredible! Wet and dry rides experiences etc! some things to note: bring clothes to change in, order your platinum tickets in advance, and make sure you get transportation to and from the park. All-inclusive waterpark! Yes! I appreciated that they had bars on sight and no fast food stands, but, cooked food buffets and restaurant options throughout the park. The food was great here! Surprisingly enough some of the best food in the Cancun area! The lockers are about 20 USD for the full day so go early. Also, if you choose to you have to rent the tube for the lazy river which is the same price. The rides were decent and the pools were plentiful for both adults and children. We did the tube slide and it was fun. We wanted to do the ziplining course but realized it was getting late and the day we went we realized that area was closing early. A must-do for sure when visiting Tulum, or Cancun. Will definitely go again!

A lot of fun for the whole day.
This is a great water park that everyone seems to enjoy. We have visited it three times in different years and usually have a great time with all its different water related activities. The infrastucture is in good conditions but normally there is a couple of activities closed for manteinance. On the dowside last time that we were there we had to spend more that 45 minutes in line for the food. The food is fine but since it is included in the ticket if the park is full the lines are endless.

    Vere good for the prie
I agree it needs plenty of upgrade. It needs to be closed and all tile updated. It needs more place to change and the air conditioning is not too good at the dressrooms. The wood lockers are not really good and they don't close well. Still, my 7 yr old had a blast and for the price we had a full day of fun. People get crazy at the buffet but trust me when i tell you there is plenty of food and the lines go fast. My only issue was the drinks. It needs more self-serve options for non-alcoholic drinks because it takes too long for the 2-3 guys to serve the tons of people at the restaurant. Bring towels, a change of clothes and come early so that you get some of the shaded spaces! There is a palapa in the middle of the kids pools where you can leave your stuff and be away from the sun. I would be back.

We had the smallest pack, which included “friendly encounter” with dolphins and the rest of the park activities, and it was enough. Water park could have more options of slides for adults. If you are coming with kids, they are gonna love it. If only adults, then 2-3hours max until you are out of activities. Food was ok. Transportation was ok. Also, too expensive photos (1person in a photo 65USD per picture, 2people in a photo 80USD per picture).

Classic and old school water park.
This water park was originally a wet’n’wild water park, it’s only school and doesn’t look like it has had a huge amount of investment since. We had a good time. Just don’t expect much, if you have been to water parks in the US and Dubai you will be disappointed. The staff are friendly. If you want to use the lazy river or wave pool you can, however you have to rent an inflatable tube for 150 peso daily charge (a very odd rule). There is randomly a rollercoaster there too, you have to sign a waiver to use it, the check in process for this was longer than the ride itself. Food and soft drinks were included in our package. Food was ok and locally themed. If you’re a fussy eater you might not like it.

A great, full day with the kids
Our admission to this park was included with a dolphin experience; as such, I did not expect it to be all that great. I was pleasantly surprised. We were here from open to close, 10am-5pm and our 9 and 10 year old enjoyed every bit of it. The fact that it was not busy at all and we encountered zero lines all day was a major bonus. Could it use some updates? Yes, but really you could say that of most things outside of hotel zone. Is it as good as some of the modern and top-notch parks in the US? No. This didn't bother us, other than a few attractions being closed, including the ropes course and a water slide. Plan to rent a locker for the day. Also, anything that isn't a water slide, lazy river, or wave pool will require dry clothes. Do those first or plan to change. We enjoyed the buffet that came with our admission; it features Mexican food, so don't plan on hotdogs and chicken nuggets. Also be aware of what "worlds" your admission comes with so you're not frustrated when you're denied access.

The website does not give you the full details of what you are buying. So when we got here you then had to pay for lockers, pay for your rings to use on the rides! A rip off! The food package was a joke. They had one person serving at the peak of the day and it took over 30 mins to get served! They had 4 staff cleaning tables but not one of them thought to help the one person on their own!
This is a badly run place, that costs a lot of money for what it is! Not recommended by me and I would urge people to check what they are paying for before they do anything else! Not worth the trip away from the hotel!

Luckily got free entry due to booking the dolphins online. Got here on shuttle bus for 8:30 to find the water park only opens at 10am, and slides at 11am. Only two water slides open on the whole ‘water park’. You had to pay for locker hire too whereas all other parks in cancun have had free lockers. Have to hire inflatable donuts for the lazy river. Only perks - drinks (alcohol and soft) & food included. Free entry due to dolphin swim experience but would not recommend. Would rather do dolphins in XCARET! Or xel ha.

I was just looking for a fun water park to spend the day and unfortunately I booked this in a rush. The waterpark was quite good although not many big slides, and the food was awful, but the staff were nice people.

However, I didn't realise until I arrived that one of the main attractions there is a dolphin experience. I'm a huge advocate for marine life living freely and was disappointed that I hadn't looked at the website more closely and very sad that I supported them with my money.

People were queuing up to touch the dolphins and watch them do tricks all day long. Dolphins are amazingly smart animals who do not deserve to be trained for human amusement. It's honestly heartbreaking when you know how they are torn from their families and brought to these places, and how far they would naturally travel in the wild.

Please, I urge you, if you love dolphins and want to see them, please go see them in the wild. Not in a tiny tank like at this place. Watch "The Cove" and you will see the truth. Put them before your amusement, please.

Warning, don't buy any package apart from the basic, as what they say your paying for doesn't exist at the park!! Kids were so excited about go karts and roller coaster, they weren't operating! Looking back at comments looks like they haven't been operating for about a year! When we checked in they said no roller coaster and instead we could have virtual reality for over 14years, our youngest is 7!
When I went to complain about the go karts etc, the manager was rude! She said I could have 2 free inflatable donuts for the Lazy River, which every other country I have been too they should be included with the lazy river anyway! Just Rude! She tried to tell me that we still had our free ice creams!
Ice cream machine was like a warm milkshake was not even frozen!
No dolphin presentation at 2pm regardless of the signs around the park.
We swam with dolphins at the Dolphin encounter at island mujures, they were in their natural habitat being the sea. At Ventura park they are in small pools, I'm sure the water is healthy for them though, I hope! You can certainly see the difference in movement between the two lots of dolphins!
Few water slides were closed, and pools, bars. Indoor dodgems closed, everything was "under maintenence" for a year it seems.
Life guards/staff don't know what they are doing, one minute my child was not allowed on a water ride because he was too short, the next minute they are letting on someone clearly smaller!!!

Over all, few good slides for the kids, don't expect the day that you pay for as packages non existent, buffet food cold and salty, rude unhelpful staff. Waste of money and time

Do NOT book the transportation service they offer at the web page. They make you come 1 hour earlier when the park is not even open, so they make you go to the dolphinarius and try to sale you their packages. If you do not buy they make you go outside the park again and wait there one whole hour. It is a rip-off!! I haven’t even gotten inside the park and I am so mad.

Terrible service! If you go on their website it gives you different prices (better) than buying your tickets there. Bathrooms are not well maintained, they give you money tickets when you buy the most expensive entrance and do not apply for lockers, they didn’t have access to the big lockers only the small ones which are extremely small, you can barely fit a back pack.
The ticket lady was extremely rude.

Worst experience
I’ve been here before but it’s in the worst shape ever. Dirty. Food is horrible. Alcohol the worst. But to top it off, men were talking in disgusting ways to my daughters and were not made to leave the park!!!! Nationals go there about because of a cheaper price so beware. This is not what you think!!!! Stay away
