The trip had the perfect combination of cycling and culture. Most of the trip in beautiful nature and without traffic. Among other things, we got an insight into the culture of the Indians. We ended up at the beautiful city: Chiapa, where we ended the nice boat trip at Cánon del sumidero. All the way, our extremely friendly, service-minded and English-speaking guide (Josué) made the trip run perfectly. Big credit to him. 73 km sounds like a lot, but most of it is downhill on really good bikes. There is also the option of shortening the trip after 42 km, where you can take a minibus to the boat trip, which my wife did. Our guide (Josué) was good at individual solutions, so everyone had a good trip. We would definitely recommend the tour. Annette and Steffen

I took the 32 km bicycle cultural trip to Chamula and Zinacatan (8am-1pm). Sunny weather. We were lucky, it was on the 12th of december, St Guadalupe Virga’s day, so there were special celebrations in the villages. But apparently the atmosphere is also likely the same on the weekends too.
An unintended religious experience, never seen before, and an amazing bicycle tour, a bit tough by the way, so be prepared physically.
Special thanks to our english speaking friendly guide Josue that explained us quite well the local traditions and has been patient enough.
Very reactive agency, nice, helpful and experienced guide.
It was impossible to pay with a credit card.

Our family of four had a wonderful cycling and hiking tour with Josue. We cycled to a local park and hiked up to a lookout and some caves. It was great! Our boys are 15 and 12 and my husband cycles, so they are very fit. I am in reasonable shape too, but I found it chalenging! Josue was a great guide. It was a very fun day and I highly recommend it. Just consider carefully how fit you are! Josue can help you choose a tour at a level that works for you.

We did the Mountain Bike Tour in Chiapas to the Chiflon Waterfall and is was great! For me it was the first time being on a Mountain Bike, but the Guides were really good explaining everything to me and very patient. The Tour itsfel was beautyful and also going swiming in the waterfall was a highlight. The bikes and the equipment is very good quality and in a very good shape. I can recommend the tour! We left 2 days after tour, otherwise we would have done another one. Thank you for the great experience.

We went on a great mountain bike tour to cañon del sumidero. Great route, we had nice food along the road, and a great guide who explained us a lot! When we arrived at the canyon we took a boat trip before heading back to San Cristobal by car. Everything was organized perfectly! Can recommend everybody who loves a bit of a challenge to go on this tour.

Definitely a must when you’re in San Cristobal! We’ve done the mountainbike tour with canyon trip, which was fantastic! The guide was very pleasant and fun. He told us a lot about the region and their culture. The trip is 73km but it can be partly done by van when needed. We even stopped at a local house in a village and ate breakfast there! It was AMAZING! Go go go!

I would really recommend doing a mountainbike trip with this company!! My and my friend did the trip to the waterfalls of Totolapa and to the Canon del Sumidero. Both trips were amazing, we really loved every second of it. The routes are both very nice and you see a lot of villages around San Cristobal and also beautiful views. Josue was also a really nice guide, his English is very good and he is very kind. Also, he told us a lot about Chiapas and answered all the questions we had.

Went on the 56 km bike ride from Teopisca to El Chiflon (got picked up at our hotel in San Cristóbal). Absolutely amazing tour and awesome guides. The tour is mostly downhill, so the length is very manageable. El Chiflon is beautiful!

My girlfriend and I just came back from what was supposed to be our biking tour. It all started quite well, until the slope of the road got steeper. There, the two of us (there were no other guests) couldn't keep up with our guide Victor and it didn't take long until he was 300 to 500 m ahead of us (not looking back once). When he reached the top of the hill, we lost sight of him and once we were there as well, there was neither hide nor hair of him. Since there was actually also a junction with three ways to go, we decided to wait until Victor is getting bored riding his bicycle alone and comes back to show his guests the right way. Unfortunately this never happend...
After waiting at the junction for ten minutes in the middle of nowhere, we went back to the office and cancelled the tour. Since our tour was obviously a complete bummer and Victor rather goes by his one than taking guest with him, we hope that at least had a gread trip...
Nevertheless, there are two positive things to be mentioned about Jaguar Adventure. Firstly, the equipment was really professional and secondly, the owner (I think his name is Mauricio) appologized and it was no problem to get our money back, what we really appreciated.

I did the mountain bike tour to the pueblos. Everything about the trip exceeded expectations. First, it was just Josue and me, so a private tour. He’s terrific, really friendly and informative. Equipment is great. At first I thought the balloon tires were a bit much, but I appreciated them on the rocky descents. I saw so much more on the bike on trails then I could have in a van. Heads up: you probably want to be in decent shape because we’re at altitude, and a few of the climbs were some work.
Highly recommend.
